Seems like my bill also been charged at 249 for 300mbps extraordinary VAR package. since there is a promotional 1 month bill waiver in this month, this 249 has been deducted wholly and left with the prorate balance. The actual bill still haven't come out but I'm sure that this probably related to the unusual discount that people been getting and this probably affect us on the new extraordinary package.

However, if the discount is due to technical glitch or error from TM side, I'm sure they will charge back the discount in next month bill. This is TM we talking about. Never in their dictionary to give discount without making big news of it.

Yeah, it's for their own staffs only. You work with TM, TM give you staff price for their own service. I don't see any wrong with it. Same goes to my company, I work for them and they give discount for all their staffs to spend within their subsidiary companies.

Refer the image.. if u see the wifi SSID (right portion) the @unifi is already there.. so what ever name u put end u u will have an wifi SSID of ending with @unifi .. my question is how to change the ssid not to end with @unifi..

Today unifi hv routing problem to google service like google dns ?
I cant ping to 8.8.8.8 but other ISP like telco hv no problem to reach google dns then website seem abit slow respond

I think cheaper subscription fee is better for now, since most people don't really need the high speed plan, just improve the stability and connectivity 1st.
low latency and stable internet and optimized routing actually is the most important...otherwise 2/5/10gbps also useless, u still can't hit the speed when u really need to get something done...

Hi, i need some advise. In 2020, i signed for home unifi 800mbps with unifi Tv for RM2XX per month.( i believe it was a 24 month contract)

lately in the past several months the internet speed is very slow. Testing using TM speed test or Ookla (LAN cable test not wifi) show that my down is about 100mbps n up is less than 50.
i would call to customer service to complain then the speed is restored to the package i signed for (800 down, >200 up)

but after say 24+ hours, the speed goes bad again, back to the shitty 100mbps.

i have complained several times, and this cycle has continued for over 3 months now.

the internet is mostly being used by my parents (streaming Netflix/youtube) n me (WFH during day, streaming at night). i wouldn't think this is too heavy especially with the package i signed for (800mbps)

can anyone advise what i need to do? is there a better ISP provider that i can switch to?
