yeah, my attempt to get clarification from chat was not successful.

so if i am an existing subscriber (before sep2022), are the streaming apps i am currently enjoying also subjected to a silent "24mth FREE" just like those explicitly mentioned for sep22-nov2022 new subscribers?

so after 24mth will no longer be FREE?

so why is this important to me?
i am currently paying for viu and iqiyi on top of the FREE streaming apps for existing subscribers.
but those who came in sep2022-nov2022 will be getting those 2 as well for the same price i am already paying for.

that "24mth FREE" is a worrisome clause.
is my current is FREE indefinite as long as i pay? or is it also subject to silent "24mth FREE"?
if all being equal and just comparing unifi ultimate pack, "will it be worth staying on existing, or better by switchcing to current offer" line of thinking.

My case - upgrade. The installer never turned up to install the WiFi6 router. But I received the Acceptance Form from TM (email), "someone" signed on behalf of me so job done! Haha.

And this upgrade also took 5 days to proceed from 300Mbps to 30Mbps and then back to 300Mps

I upgraded to 300mbps and got 2 sets of D-Link DIR-X1860Z (one as a router and the other as a mesh). Seriously, these combination is disastrous compared to my previous fibrehome + Deco E3 (2 packs) combo. My connection had been going up and down and totally unstable.

For those already on 300mbps and above, what's your DL/UL speed from speedtest/fast.com?

im using the DIR-X1860Z too.. but i didn't follow the Unifi auto configure guide (by connecting to modem, let it run for minutes..bla2.. get new password sms.. etc..).. i create my own unifi pppoe setup based on my current login.

disabled or remove non related connection (the TR-609 connection, remote admin, etc..) - but do NOTE that removing this, TM cant remote troubleshoot ur connection problems if occurs.. 

currently running fine.. virtual server or port-forwarding also setup, so i can access my server from outside/internet.

Easy mesh depends on firmware, if buggy firmware memang not stable. Deco got good firmware at least for mesh implementation although is proprietary system
You means 5ghz? Or you meant sometime DC? Some phone like xiaomi prone to dc the wifi occasionally

Better go to TM point. Live chat only can do technical support. Try call 100 and press 4 connect sales team but by previous pages of this thread, chances are sales team will not entertain or eventually will cancel. So only option left is go TM point
Laptop old driver got problem with wifi 6. If intel card need install update first from intel website OR Microsoft windows update

If mediatek or other brand drivers, then hard to remedy. Maybe try wpa2 instead of wpa3

what type of security encryption did u all use? WPA2 / WPA3 ?
some old or some devices have problem with wifi6 and WPA3 security.

What brand of router is that? Wifi 5? If wifi 5 then u lugi. Becos by rite new 300Mbps subscribers they should give 1 x wifi 6 mesh wifi router instead.

With the emergence of 5G mobile internet which reach 1000 Mbps speed, do you guys think that Unifi will release 2 Gbps plan as what has been experienced by our neighbor's country since 2016

Tm agent came over to pass me the dlink router after activating my SWU 300mbps remotely and me restarting my BTU. Even suggested to me to sell it off.
Now wondering whether to wait for the RT-AX86U Pro or get the GT-AX6000.

Mine is landed 5 room, so far my good old C3150 is running smoothly but thought is time to replace the aging hardware and try out Wifi 6 since I have a few certified hardware. Planning to explore NAS to consolidate my data for my Plex.
Did you mean X1860? Because iirc the X1850 is a USB adapter.
