Just checked back with this, SWU also offers 1 year free upgrade and 6 months waiver, isn't that the same as Ngam campaign? Or is SWU 3.0 currently also offering 1 year free upgrade + waiver? I'm confused

NGAM = Official.

SWU 3.0 = borderline unofficial (you may get declined if you ask for it), btw - only for existing subscribers out of contract *current standing*

Oh so does that mean that we won’t be losing out much choosing Ngam as compared to SWU 3.0? Then might just take Ngam directly then as opposed to trying to score SWU

depends on which plan you'd like to take..

as an example, for me :
- previously paying RM159 for 300Mbps with M4 Deco.
- was told during sign-up that there will be RM10 deducted after 24mths contract finishes.
- on my 25th month but no change, called 100 and operator said RM159 sampai bila2.
- rasa tertipu, browsed Unifi website, got Ngam offer RM149 for 300Mbps with 6mths free speed upgrade.
- browsed this thread, in case got any 'undertable offers' like last years (i know for a fact that my father in law got offered RM129 for 300Mbps).
- saw people getting SWU 3.0 RM119/300Mbps, RM189/500Mbps
- interested to upgrade to 500Mbps, called 100 again, but told that I need to go to counter for subscription plan change.
- went to counter. counter lady bising2 ask me where did I hear about SWU 3.0, not offered to everyone.. bla bla bla.. but she straightaway re-contract me for 300Mbps.
- now happily getting 6mths bill waiver, 500Mbps speed upgrade for 1yr.. no complaints.

do yourself a favour : go to the nearest TM Point/Unifi counter to check any interesting offer specialized for you.

Interesting, I’m planning to get my mom to recontract 1gbps from 30mbps, equipment? Not needed since I run my own router, switch and AP. But from what I can see Ngam is probably the best choice here except 1Gbps DOESNT get free upgrade to 2Gbps in Ngam but from what I can understand, SWU 1Gbps does offer, tomorrow will be going to a few more outlets to see what’s the offer like but if the SWU 1Gbps offer is same/better than Ngam, if not maybe I’ll just get her to take the 1Gbps Ngam or just upgrade in app to get the 1Gbps package with free 2Gbps upgrade

Your's exactly like mine. Upon reading about SWU 3.0, I straight away went to TM Point and subscribed to it.

Already on SWU 3.0 too. RM119/300mbps. More than enough for my 3 person home. My 3 elder kids already left and live their own lifes.

It must be your unlucky day then. The counter lady I went to told me that all existing customer is eligible for the upgrade as long as they are not under contract.

She also asked me where did I get the information I just casually replied internet je hehe.

Word of advice, not really recommending upgrade thru apps.
