one of my client bought PON Stick, manage to get full 2Gbps

This mean, to achieve full 2Gbps without needing Aggregate need to use XPON ONU SFP and compatible SFP+ @ 2.5G (HiSGMII/2500base-X) router

I’m on Unifi 800mbps plan with unlimited calls and ultimate tv pack with Disney Hotstar (RM159).

Went to Menara TM and told them that I’m planning to terminate my current plan with no contract. They ask me for a reason, I said my company wants me to switch to starlink which is operating in June. They told me to hold on as they are considering to upgrade existing 800mbps customers to 2gbps plan…

I never get other ip block anymore. 10 time restart 10 time same block.

They changed the ONU but set it as bridge mode as my office is already using a Mikrotik cloud core router

truly AIO setup that beat stock Unifi Ultra ONR, courtesy lwk523, TP-LINK TL-XDR5480 (China only firmware, no VLAN):

It takes about 5-10 seconds to properly load certain webpages and sometimes need to refresh but I think it maybe due to connecting to my 2.4ghz Wifi. It was never this slow since upgrading to 300mbps and TM changed to a Zyxel router. Tried changing channels but still same. Am testing with 5ghz wifi currently.

Can I ask TM to change the Zyxel router to another router, even watching Disney Hotstar+ using LAN also can buffer once in a while OMG.

im looking for new router as well, having issues with the unifi free one (i think its fiberhome sr1041f with only 1 signal light). subscribed to 500mbps but NEVER once in life goes over 330mbps, disconnect issues occur randomly and after everytime called center to reset the port speed went down to 80-90mbps constantly. if the problem still persist after switching different router i might just downgrade it since i never get what i paid for...

planing to get tplink Ax20/Ax23 or Dlink ax3000(from carousell but its from unifi as well)

anyone has other recommendation? around 10 devices sharing, easy setup.

oh tplink AX20 is from unifi too? i didnt know that. i thought only all the brown boxes with no packaging design are from unifi...

Update: I’m on 800mbps plan + ultimate pack and unlimited voice call package at (RM159). My broadband download speed has been only 20mbps and upload 60 MBPS  past 3 days. Log a call with TM yesterday after doing all troubleshooting, they came a while ago and replace the BTU and issue solved.

While replacing my BTU, initiated conversation with the technician,  he mentioned TM have been quietly contacting selected customer to perform free upgrade to 2GBPS for current 800 mbps package subscriber before the mass rollout free upgrade  announcement.

MRSP is confirm taking place but rather than reducing their price and loosing their profits and margin, they rather provide speed upgrade to sustain the profit.

He also said, some TM point the moment 800mbps customer walks in to terminate, they will offer 2GBPS free upgrade plan.

Just sharing as per what was shared with by TM technician 30 mins ago.

After changing the BTU, my connection is restored as per normal and no cost billed to me as BTU is TM property to no service charge billed to me.

Dear sifus, I recently switch from maxis fibre to tm fibre and they provided the fiberhome sr1041f router. My question is, how do I setup the maxis Kaonmedia ar2140 router to use as main router? I've tried just setting the pppoe username and password but still can't connect to the internet
