my second ex5 cost me more than 3k back to year 2004.

why u open the cover its outside no need to open any cover..but i dont know how to put it in words.. if u can put kriss engine picture maybe i can help...

btw newer Kriss don have filter (I think la..) older one yes

Newer kriss 120normal or Sports got oil filter, it comes out when u change the engine oil pops out,just like LC135..

eitherwise honda wave125,does not have that.As u can noe the new kriss120s is good to drive than previous versions,
abide the China made bikes,=cos theyre cheap .

i mean the newer Kriss 100, which has almost same engine to the Ex5

Just finished painting my friend's Suzuki Smash Pro 110...
Now it looks like this...

Just a replica from Suzy team in Malaysian Cub Prix Championship...

Using only Samurai spray paint...and it's Rm5 clear coating...
Spent about Rm100 including the sticker...quiet cheap I guess...

Now, still waiting for the Racing Boy 811 sport rim for this Smash Pro...Maybe will arrive next week...
luckily Racing Boy got sport rim for this Suzy..
If not, don't know where to find sport rim for this bike...

nice spaying with spray can is very testing i always use air gun to spray coz my spray can skill sux

Donno if the gearbox set can fit on EX5 engine or not...
but for the crankshaft its possible...

My friend installed if on his EX5 Dream...
cost around Rm300 just to machine, centering the crankshaft to fit in EX5 crankcase...
Also need to use EX5 Class 1 oil pump+clutch side crankcase set...cost around Rm400 for the set...
need to change the conn rod, using EX5 Class 1 block...if not, need to make a spacer for the block...

Total cost just for the crankshaft machining and main parts nearly Rm1k already...
not including the engine setting and tuning cost around Rm400...

d nxt 2month,i change d block 2 racing block(107@108cm3 frgot la... )

then ts mikuni(rm140) n hi cam...sprocket 14-28 i guess...it run till 140km

then about half a year after dat my carb got loose n broken when i ws speedin @80km/h...so i change bck 2 d ori carb(d prev 1)

lack of full 4 sure(i ws savin 4 d new ts cz i ws stdyin in utm johor...)

wf dat carb,i went bck home-utm bout 10times(about 150+/- km) @80-120km/h n finally my piston xplod....adui...

change bck 2 ori block,bore also bt dnt rmmber d size(no time 2 left my bike @spg.reggam)

i bore my racing block @bt pht n get a china ts(rm60),xworth @ all...d fuel dnt flow well @hi speed...olso got 'hick-up',my top=120km/h...adeh

then i switch 2 taiwan ts sheng wey(d workshop told me) @melaka cz im stayin in mlaka nw,it cost me rm170(xpensiv like hell n d mikuni japan is rm220,damn..)

frm worshop,xhardware... i also change d sprocket ratio 13-27...d fuel flow btter bt still my top is 120km/h....(n i also hv prob wf my 4t oil...dry fast)

any suggestion n advice on my 4t oil?

n how cn i get my exclass1 a higher top speed? im ok wf d pick-up rite nw....

believe me, u will still end up selling ur bike coz not satisfied with the power i`ve been there too.. when count back all the money spent on my Kriss can buy new bike already

i suggest u to use any Motul oil

depends on you la. if u really love it then keep it. if not sell it and top up a bit, get LC or 125Z better
