never say never, it has happened and will happen again like today
which bank is receiving in your case?
yes i made 2 withdrawals around 10.30am to CIMB, until now still not credited
usually cimb received money quite fast around 9 sometimes even 8.30pm
so likely is KDI issue

Yeah disappointing. Going to reduce my fund in KDI tomorrow and place in Be U fd.
*
welp, i cant complain.. they give the best rates with liquidity.. If dont need liquidity then be u fd is a nice alternative

just self reminder and PSA to all: try not to make big withdrawals on Friday. Have chance that it might not complete on same day and then you will lose interest for 3~4 days.

Why you all withdraw on Friday? Means you lose interest over the weekend.

Before 11am, can get on same day usually.

Seems I've been lucky. Per my previous posts, I've made 2 withdrawls recently and I've been fortunate to receive the funds relatively quick.

The withdrawls were made at night and I'd receive 2 acknowledging emails, the first immediately after withdrawing and another email around 4PM the next day. The funds would then be deposited into my account (AmBank) by late evening around 9-10PM.

you made withdrawal on Friday?

It’s in their FAQ

They didn’t guarantee same day… so I won’t hold it against them….
*
yes i know. Nonetheless it's still disappointing, especially if this will be more common occurrence moving forward..

I'm hoping it's just this couple of days maybe they have some issues that needs solving or got extra workload or whatever and will return back to normal soon

Don't think it was a Friday. Both withdrawls were made before a working day. I think one was made on Sunday night
*
ya so you cant call yourself lucky.

cause it only affected that Friday's withdrawal..

i believe it will affect everyone, when it happens..

not sure if it is a recent change but on the withdrawal page, it shows T + 1 for withdrawal before 11 a.m. and T+2 if withdraw after 11 a.m.

Hence, it's fairly normal that your money come in today.

I know the rules. I didn't blame them.
It's always been T+1 for withdrawals before 11am.. So min same day, max 2 days.

It's just usually in the past we usually able to get the withdrawal on same day. Lately it's becoming more frequent that KDI has been stretching it to the fullest extent of their TNC..

Thats why i said next time if wanna make any withdrawal, i will do it max on Thursday dy. Dont want to do on Friday anymore. If withdraw on Thursday, can get either Thursday or Friday latest. If withdraw Friday then got high chance might not get same day, Monday night only going to get the funds.. 1 day vs 3 days wasted interest..

Stupid question: If I deposit 200k in save do the full 200k get 3.5% EAR or first 50k 4% and balance 150k 3.5%? I need to semi-short term park a larger amount of money smile.gif

first 50k @ 4%

the rest @ 3.5%
