Guys, for KDI save, any idea where the withdrawal will withdraw the money from "Returns" first, or will withdraw the money from "Net Deposit" first?

I want to withdraw RM 1.8M out fr my KDI Save to 4 diff bank accs all in 1 day.
RM800k  B islam, 400k PBB, 300k MBB , 300k HLB all  on 4.4.22
i tested with RM100 yesterday , tak jadi!

deposit masuk use 6 bank accounts also all accepted.
Withdraw out to 4 banks, why KDI can't make it easier?.  
maybe, but it says WD no limit,  luckily...........

You are wrong and this is  reason others get impatient  as i need to correct wrong info.

troublesome.. and it creates too many transactions in bank account.
i also got request CS to hv more bank account for withdrawal.

If they can few bank ac bank in.. so should hv the same few ac for withdrawal.

the time it takes them to process transfer is really pissing me off
FPX is supposed to be near real time and yet they say it can take 1-2 days
every time i transfer also have to send in a request to check

anyone tried withdraw before? also take 1-2 days?

i have seen 1 of my deposit took more than 24 hours
cut off date or time?
if date then i don't think i saw this T&C.
if time then is it 11am as well?
transfer in from linked account also still not yet reflected
almost reaching 24 hours by now

i haven't transfer out, but just planning ahead in case need money.
if the withdrawal is a hassle then i will need to keep sufficient cash balances elsewhere

Need to give it few years to see growth. KDI invest choices so far solid. Below RM3k no fees charged so how also you gained.

I depo into KDI with Maybank CC via FPX, the apps rejected it but CC still kena charge, payment successfully went through.

CS said take within 40 days to refund. Anyone did the same before?

Since we cant pick the funds in KDI, just wondering if "buy the dip" method would work here?

MY original KDI Invest GROWTH RM1000 was at  RM972.57 as at 9.5.2022

I topped up RM1000 9.5.22 early morning, hoping to improve it, but today  noted total value RM1956.59 , it is even worse
Not  sure is my original 1k went down further or the new add in RM1k kena chop.

How is yours?
usually  money in around 7.00pm, only once very early by 5,00pm,
occasionally late till 10.10pm.
But once i kena money only came in next day!

Market down is time to put money in. Not when it's going up.

3 months playing KDI save, trying to make some sense out of its numbers...
1)Everytime you withdraw/WD some money, a portion is removed from  your  accumulated interest/returns,
sent to  your capital/Nett deposit

the bigger the  WD  the bigger cut it will send to Nett Deposit

after making 11 withdrawals, my returns dropped down to RM 1249.84 today.
if not it should be RM5877.79.

2)Why KDI must remove some money from your accumulated interest?

Below 200k no reason really, as all returns should earn 3%, i dont know.

Above 200k, i think because it wants to reduce the returns portion that earn 2.25%.
After many WDs, finally it comes to  remaining returns left  all earning 3%
even if you are at RM200k and above.

3)Someone asked above RM200k would my  interest still earn 3%?

The answer seem YES ,looking from  my simulation WD attached.

But not all your accumulated interest, only a portion of them.

How KDI decided that out of my total returns of RM5877.79
only RM1249.84 would be entitled for 3% is a mystery.
(Every time i WD, i make sure i dont touch the portion that earn 3%.)

My wife's  smaller account with accumulated returns of RM3187.48
has  RM1309.94 portion entitled for the 3%.

I could be totally wrong in my interpretation,
feel free to share your views.

you seem to think people who  put millions in FD dont know how to invest
inflation will eat away their money etc.

You forgot to look at the quantum.
the actual amount of money you can get from it
be  investment or FD.

example
A has 500k to invest - go hard for 10% return.
Good year got 10% return =RM50,000,
passive income RM4166 pm. happy.
Bad year?

B has RM10M in FD ,monthly got  RM20833 to spend
Does he need to worry about inflation?
i dont think  inflation will eat away his money.

High risk high return, just how high the risk i need to take?
to earn enough to spend.
