@Patrick - Hey if any problem you should check at the Registrar's Office.... where we collect Student ID there... you checked with them already?

Usually our course selection will get approved or ejected few days before the deadline.

Yup, the notes will not be available in your e-Classroom under e-Advantage until the subject got approved. Actually you could get the notes from photocopy shops at both Block A and first floor of Block C if your lecturer has passed the notes to staff there.

notes in e-advantage? since when they started using that again. last time lecturers used to pass down a copy of the notes to us and someone will go and photocopy it.

first semester course selection can be considered as 100% pre-approved. at least that is the case for pharmacy because we dont really get to choose which subjects to take. all are fixed.

@Patrick - Ha?? You mean the page completely blank? You using Mozilla or IE? Does that make a difference? lol I'm not sure but maybe you can try using a different Internet browser.. I'm not sure if this applies to UCSI website or the PTPTN one.. After you click e-Classroom, scroll down and choose School of Pharmaceutical Sciences.

@jerk - We have notes both ways: on e-Advantage and photostat ones. They mengada only.. hahaha... maybe in 2nd year they will wean us off the photostat ones >.<

Lol if they ask us to choose subjects for pharmacy I think I will faint... I can't tahan not learning something that is related to it. I will end up choosing all anyway.

too bad for you because first semester subject hardly even touches on pharmacy. they are only indirectly related to it.

as for compounding, you have to wait until second year

@jerk - Lol I said I cannot tahan if I end up choose other subjects and end up missing the ones that are crucial to pharmacy... but then that is my mistake and my mind deluding itself, because that's not possible. But this thinking is what made me take 5 subjects for STPM. Eeee compounding! Fun? No?

i already fed up with ucsi, lecturer suddenly add lab section then need us to buy our own safety equipment like Goggles cost around 200-300. haiz lab fees know how to charge us but equipment need to buy our own. please how not yet come ucsi please dont come =.=

i dont know about compounding in ucsi but it seems it is a killer subject. major killer subject. just ask those seniors in 3rd year and i am sure they have "stories" to tell.

the shortest possible way to graduate is by following the subjects plan they provide you without failing for any semester. if not, say goodbye to 4 years and hello to 5 years in ucsi.

there is only 1 elective to choose, the only time you are given a choice to take it or not. (if i am not mistaken, remember they told me that during my interview which was quite some time ago). probably you can choose where to do your attachment in 3rd or final year to get some early exposure before you graduate as in clinical, community or industrial. i am really not sure about that.
