QUOTE(teikwei @ May 29 2008, 11:36 AM) im BABA student here...this is my last year in UCSI lor..haha.. yea ritez !i studied my diploma at Stamford KL...after grad, then change to UCSI..bcz vr near from my hse..haha...many ppl will choose UCSI bcz it is near..cz others Campus all vr fall from those who stay in KL area...=p..Erm...i thk every Universities or colleges also the same..got good and bad...and i vr agree wf my mum's friend..he said that the student alwiz complaint that their university or college not good 1..haha..this is true..=p for me UCSI not bad de..but some of the lecturer really suckie lar...n not friendly at all compare wf my previous college...some are good n helpful....=) everyone has something to complain, even it is just a small matter... Examples, people can shout on how good taylor college is, how good sunway college, and so on... but when i ask my frends who are studying at taylor, she say, CALCULUS LECTURER SUX... sunway, ACCOUNTING LECTURER SUX.. so, not even a single college has perfection, though some are desperate for perfect... |

QUOTE i dont know u will read my post or not... but i am answering the question and adding some information about ucsi medical school. first of all... it is not yet ok to study medical in ucsi, but u can study here. the reason why i said it is not yet ok becuase not yet recognise by LAN. but the reason why ucsi medical school not yet recognise by LAN is because the first batch student is not yet graduate. we only have four batch of student (including the coming july intake student) so u will kno if ucsi medical is recognise by LAN in 1 to 2 years time. but do not worry about the recognition thing... why? because our school Dean which is Dato Dr Roslani is the formal USM Dean and is a well known Doctor in MMA i think. MMA= Malaysia Medical Association and he is going to try his best to make this school recognise by LAN. Some intro about our lecturer... most of them are not malaysian.. only 2 are malaysian. the not malaysian are from Myanmar, Africa, and India. and they are not cheap lecturer. Most of them have high qualification. For example one of our lecturer (bio chem) he is from myanmar, but he been to oxford university and even japan university japan university is known to be one of the good medical university. what i kno is ucsi is cheapest private uni offering Medic (correct me if i am wrong) any more info want to kno can leave a post. i am a medical studnt in UCSI. |

hmmm, hi dexxy...
studying music in ucsi is .... yea la quite ok lah... i cannot say its good or bad as i aint studying music... Difference between North Wing and South Wing is that... NorthWing are only for Engineering and Architecture Faculty students... So, if you study Music, you are going to study at south wing.. Thus, choosing to live at South Wing`s hostel is much more easier.. But i can guarantee you, you will hate staying at hostel because there are a lot of restrictions... So, where to live ? Beside UCSI, there is Angkasa Condo... many of my friends are living at Angkasa after a suffering period of hostel-ing ...haha.. |

QUOTE(stardustash @ Jul 21 2008, 08:50 PM) this is one of the hardest question i ever encountered... most of the time, its impossible to answer...the number of students in a class are judged by how many students will take this subject in that particular semester if you are lucky, 50 to 60 per class, but if you are unlucky, you can get over limit... this semester, i was taking Digital Electronics, which is a subject in Engineering, and believe me, the class is NOT sufficient for students, hence split into two sessions, with different lecturer.. well however, you can always drop the subject during the first 2 weeks of the semester QUOTE(WhiteBox @ Jul 23 2008, 02:24 AM) hello, I'm will be taking foundation in architecture for the sep intake. Now my prob is I hv no place to stay!!! You guys know any friends need female housemate?I need some place cheaper than the hostel lar!! Well, architecture huh ??? congratz first Happy studying at North Wing |

QUOTE(morph @ Aug 30 2008, 02:33 PM) Forgot to update you guys, I could not add/drop my subjects with eAdvantage earlier was because of Firefox. haha, yeah last time i also fooled by Firefox... It worked well with IE. Notice a few documents to be acknowledged and signed and to be submitted in the orientation kit. course selection oso cant, view results oso cant... IE rox for UCSI but, i still rate M.Firefox higher than it QUOTE(pilotan @ Aug 30 2008, 04:05 PM) yeap, taking at least 16credits on one semester...scoring 85++ in each subjects will have chance !! but in the early of the sem, you must go to the office there and register ur name..., which is something |
