Since it is based on savvy platform, it is very likely that the interior will be similar to savvy. Just like persona share the same platform as Gen2, the interior design is the same.

QUOTE(haze @ Nov 18 2007, 08:04 PM) Then we got 1 month ++ to wait for this car. but now proton plant is busy producing the persona where will they have time to build the new saga? not completely true imo,i guess there is going to be a long waiting list for this car if its priced correctly. LEts just hope that the quality of the car is up to standard Well in the 30-40k price range there is nothing that you can do about it. Even viva, savvy and myvi is full of cheap plastic even if the car almost reaches 50k call it weird, but i actually prefer the savvy lite interior over the regular savvy. all nice simple and black. |

QUOTE(rhoma @ Nov 19 2007, 01:12 AM) what's LG got to do with proton?how do they relate?does it mean that the design isn't 100% proton's? apparently found some info on the net i heard a team of proton engineers are currently in korea to design an MPV..one of them is my fren..he's been there for 2 months now i think http://www.lgcnsglobal.com/PDF/industry_08_02.pdf Proton Automotive Project of Malaysia The Business Issue Development of several new model was urgently needed for the product line-up of Proton in Malaysia, but it held problems such as lack of development manpower and budget. Proton needed a partner that was able to effectively carry out the new model development task and transmit the technology. Our approach LG CNS proposed manpower support, development schedule plan, development cost and direction appropriate for Proton. LG CNS also proposed Total Resource Outsourcing necessary for automobile development and the methodology for effective project execution by stationing LG CNS specialists in Malaysia. How it worked The potential and effective project execution capacity of LG CNS Automotive Consulting Service Group was acknowledged. As the result, LG CNS is carrying out Proton's long term new automobile model development project that covers most areas of R&D, a portion of prototype soft tool and production tool, and a portion of facility sup - ply. Besides receiving the initial project order, the chances for LG CNS to participate in the other automobile development project increases. This verifies the ability and contribution of LG CNS. LG CNS is carrying out the following tasks: Program Management / Test & Development Management / Packaging & Style Model Development / Design Engineering / CAE Analysis / DMU Analysis / Pre Prototype Vehicle Development /Vehicle Test (partial) / Prototype Soft Tool Supply (partial) / Production Tool Supply (partial) / Production Facility Supply (partial) References . Daihatsu Motors(Japan) . NAZA Motors (Malaysia) . Lotus Engineering (UK) . Prelude (Malaysia) little info actually..wonder what are those references for..does it mean LG uses those referee when designing proton's car ?Daihatsu..NAZA? |

QUOTE(zhen^wei @ Nov 18 2007, 12:02 PM) but .. if proton always launch a new products.. i think not a good marketing strategies.. if this new car is launch this few months. then the persona and satria neo no ppl want buy liao. It's not a good marketing strategy, but it's a good image strategy... it's more about publicity and PR. Why? Because Proton really need to improve it's image first, only then it can proceed to improve the marketing strategy. If you got marketing, but bad image... useless. From the point of view of marketing and pr which I studied |
