Everything is good with U Mobile 5G but connection to Apple Server is awfully slow. For both apps and iOS updates. No such issues with fiber though.

B28 is compulsory as without it you cannot CA with N78 due to DNB being a NSA-5G network.

N78 alone cannot be connected directly. It needs to do carrier aggregation with B28 to work.

No access to B28 means you can't get N78.

This will only change when 5G-SA is launched in future.

This is why I mentioned he / she have to get the Australia variant or else it won't work for the DNB 5G here

But,
LJ CBB Maxsheet 5G: speed throttle to 300-500mbps, some apps or site like fucuking jewtube fucuking buffering, anything google, latency at fucuking least 2 seconds before anything can load. Shopee Live fucuking lag. But can torrent without VPN.

Once I turn on VPN, jewtube, google services suddenly become very fast, Shopee Live dem smooth, but speed still 300-500mbps.

I have at least 5 fucuking tickets with maxsheet, told them no VPN, everything slow, once turn on VPN, fast.

Just got my YES 5G Flexi sim card yesterday .. so far able to lock to 5G without dropping to 4G ... speed is decent, during peak, getting about 300++ ish MBps, off peak can reach up to 600++ ... Tried torrenting 6GB file, damn fast (only during off peak).

I've got a weird thing happening with my U Home 5G.

I use this sim card as a second sim on my S24 Ultra. I've used it ever since I got my phone which was last month. For the past 2 weeks, I've realised whenever it connects to 5G network I'll subsequently lose all mobile data. It won't even reconnect to 4G. This can only be rectified if I cycle airplane mode. After that same thing happens. As soon as I get a 5G signal, I lose all mobile data signal again.

Initially I thought this could be my phone problem as it was updated recently. But I've tried with another Umobile and YES sim card and there wasn't this problem at all. It held on to 5G for as long as I had the card in there.

I even went to the extent of getting the U Home 5G sim replaced. But the problem persisted. I even asked CS about it and they kept saying it's my phone problem. But I've tried other sims and this didn't happen to those cards.

Anyone has any clue what's going on/fixes?
