First day going out since 15.4 dropped.

Faceid with mask totally didn’t work. I had to reset it and redo whole new scanning process. Thankfully After that, started working. The animation of unlocking definitely feels it takes a bit longer to scan. 😄

Battery life reports coming up, could be due to 120hz lifted for 3rd party apps since earlier this as only apple apps can utilize.

For me first few days quite bad. I think probably backend processing or something?

Are you using "3D" masks that sticks out? If yes then you need to look down or raise the phone higher.

Usually 1-2 days after iOS updates battery will drain faster due to the indexing process.

Nope no issues whatsoever of not using a lens protector. Just get a case with a decent camera lip. Should mitigate all the risks.

Yup. Mine drop to 99 last week. But my usage is 12hours per day. Using for utube and waze during work time.

i think it just want to get 3D scan of the exposed skin area, ascertain the edge of the mask to eliminate out of the recognition evaluation.

Lol i held my phone higher and works now


Eyes look to sensor and now works flawlessly


But the drawback now is if i unlock this way coz im holding the phone higher, people infront of me think im taking a photo of them. Lol cashier etc just turn thier face when i unlock for tng payment
