Maybe… I a bit abandoned Apple Watch also. Got too tiresome to keep charging it. Belt Fanny… I strap to the back and tie it hard. But if you run long distance.. definitely not the way to go.

I also tend to leave it behind. Can’t call me.

Apple just decided glass material looks premium with the steel band. Others are just copying. Only other way is to go for those plastic materials which are definitely lighter. Else really is a smartwatch approach.

Same here.. When I first got the AW I felt so liberated being able to run without carrying the phone, while still being able to stream music through the watch while running. And it’s even cooler when someone calls me during the run and I can answer it directly - feels very James Bond-ish. But watching the battery drain like no tomorrow on the watch after an hour and a half or so of working out I decided to just carry the phone instead of having to keep charging the watch.

If you're the long distance runner/fitness freak type that cares only about battery life and GPS, HR and sleep tracking, I totally suggest Huawei GT Runner. 14 days battery life and accurate GPS signal. Extremely lightweight at below 40g as well.

Seeing that ios 15.4 with Facemask ID coming out soon, can foresee more people opting out of using Applewatch bye.gif

13PM still trumps the battery tests even after 4 months after release!

Although battery consumption COULD improve with the Snapdragon version. Since he's using the Exynos 2200 (which is known to be below SD's standards in terms of performance and battery efficiency)

If its true that the rest of the world (other than europe) is getting an inferior chip compared to S21 ultra or Xiaomi's phone, then Samsung has some explaining to do rclxms.gif

Coz it’s a smaller battery, 4600mAh. Pretty respectable already for a battery less than 5000mAh smile.gif

Hi all,

So I just bought the iphone 13 pro max... its been ages since since I last purchased an iPhone...

Understood that Apple phone now doesn't come with charger and cable, but I'm totally confused with what cable and charger I should be buying. Can anyone point me to the right setup and where to buy?

Thanks.

Is there any good apps can actually download songs and put into music instead of using itunes?

It will come with a USB C to lightning cable, hence you need to look for a USB C PD (Power Delivery) charger - 20W will do, as that’s about all the iPhone supports. Some options are: -

A) UGreen 20W PD USB Quick Charger

B) Aukey PA-Y25 PD Charger

C) Ori Apple 20W PD Charger

There are more options of course, but I think you get the idea smile.gif

13 Pro Max charges up to 30W (which is causes the battery to heat up quite a bit sweat.gif ) First time I connected I was wondering why the battery so much hotter than my previous Xs Max.

Ohh, my bad. I just checked… Officially it’s 25W but can go up to 27W, hehehe..

I used to charge mine with my 12W iPad charger so it takes forever to charge, but on the plus side it does not heat up at all laugh.gif

Last time when I found the battery being so hot, I actually plugged in the type-c PD checker.. it went close to 30W so I assumed 30W laugh.gif

Side note, with the awesome battery life of 13PM, I just usually charge on the classic 5W charger haha and maybe to about 80~90% and usually per day usage I only use about 40-50% of battery. more than enough. So yeah it takes even longer for mine tongue.gif

This is driving me nuts and very disruptive:

How to disable Chrome from going back and forth through History when I swipe left and right?

It is very disruptive when I intend to read a zoomed page and have it move left and right, but instead Chrome loaded bck the page that I came from before, or loaded the “next” page if i am already backtracking.

(the funny thing: i finally found a feature i hate on iphone, and it’s not even by apple.)
