My experience with claiming insurance with local sellers are that they take their sweet time so don't expect your phone anytime soon after you send. So this year I decided to buy myself since I think I'll be quicker even if it's a little more troublesome

From my experience with Buyandship, they don't ship it like normal forwarders so it somehow never cross SIRIM. Similar to their duty paid shipping method, no extra fees involved cause the price of shipping already counted duty in and I've seen quite a few guys ship the pixel phones on the BNS Facebook page without issue.

I think it's bypassing Google's store/system that's the problem cause they cancelled my order once. Something to do with forwarding address or billing address maybe? I'll update if it ships

Google is now aggressively block forwarders' address. I hope your get through eventually. Please update here with your situation. Buyandship seems to have the best deal around imo, i hope to use it for my next iphone next year(im informed apple hasnt blocked it yet).

May I know which instructions you refered to ? Tried buyandship last year for pixel too, made the payment and entered their address , order stuck there for quite sometime until google informed it's cancelled, happened to both USA and japan warehouse .

That's true, but i noticed someone saying you can cheat the system by changing the address details a little (eg A1rport instead of Airport)
The instructions were that if you wanted to use a foreign credit card, you will need to register a payment profile for that payment which I did. I hope this is the issue and not the forwarder's address cause I saw some guys who shipped to the UK address and still got their stuff.

FYI Wi-Fi 6E has been approved for use in Malaysia since beginning of this year. Personally got the confirmation from MCMC and brought in Eero Pro 6 with Wi-Fi 6E last month from the US. Applied for Sirim permit and approved without issue. Should be no issue to bring the P7 this year. Ordered mine on launch day from both Google Store US and Amazon Germany, will see which reaches first 😬

I really don't understand Google. They limit the released countries, they block forwarder, then they say they can't compete with Apple (in terms of newest tech) because they don't have the volume that Apple has, thus to include many of newest tech would be expensive.

Buying on Amazon Germany was about RM600 cheaper compared to Amazon UK due to exchange rate 😅 This is with shipping direct to Malaysia.
