Pixel 6A got volte/sms support from local telco now with latest beta?

Beta update still can volte?

So is the pixel 6/pro/6a recommend to use in msia? Thinking getting one.

Saw Pixel 6a new on shopee for 1.6k. Shopee mall, seller from hong kong.

Anything I should know before I pull the trigger?

I never had a phone acting up that needing warranty claim. So far.

can stay on beta indefinitely? i'm not clear how the beta program works.

I just need a small-ish android. Would love to get xperia 10 but the camera is too budget for the asking price. Currently on iphone, i dont think i can tolerate ios for another year.

zenfone 9 support volte for digi, maxis and unifi after august update.

but way out of my budget.

One last question before I buy pixel 6a, how many hours of screen on time can I expect with this phone? And signal reception in Malaysia okay?

I just use for web browsing and utube.

Before this I use pixel 3, it was a horrible experience with umobile, cant even get a signal indoor since 3G shutdown. Tried with digi, it was better but still quite sad.

Ordered from T&L Telecom HK. Let's hope my order didn't get cancelled for any reason because it looks like the previous listing by the seller was taken down. Now they use funny font for the listing 𝑮𝒐𝒐𝒈𝒍𝒆 𝑷𝒊𝒙𝒆𝒍.

Last year I bought "refurbished" Pixel 3 from one shop, found out that nothing was refurbished. More like it was someone else's returned phone after a warranty claim that is in somewhat good working condition, with an issue you might or might not notice.

Anyway, after a few days I found that the Pixel 3 got dust in the camera lens. Send for replacement, got another uniy also with dust. Unless you sure that the seller also runs a repair shop, I think the experience will always be a mixed bag.

First 24 hr impression with Pixel 6a. The phone easily gets warm from light use, web browsing, fb and shopee. Not hot, just annoyingly warm. I was planning to use the phone naked, but it seems that I have to use a case with this 6a.

this evening the phone just became warm for no reason in my pocket when i'm out for 30 minute drive.



changed in settings to prefer 4G only. plus I don't think my area have 5G yet.

After another 24 hr with Pixel 6a... I gotta say, I am not impressed with the screen on time given the size of the battery, 45% battery left after 4 hours screen time, for comparison my 13 mini gets 50% after 4 hours - with almost half battery capacity. Plus the phone constantly become warm for no reason. And the pixel launcher or the android 13 is surprisingly restrictive, almost apple like. Why can't I change the color for on app notification bubble? I can barely see it with my current wallpaper.

What I like: fingerprint sensor works for sweaty hands. In fact, I think the fingerprint sensor works better with slightly moist finger. Got a lot of misses with it, but it's better than not working at all when my hands sweats using iphone touch ID.

My biggest disappointment: this phone does not feel compact in hand. Those reviewers lied to me.

After adaptive battery learn routine, phone will stop become warm just by web browsing? This is my first modern android phone, last time I was on android 6/7.

Im turning on battery saver mode, seems like it does something. But its annoying without vibration.

Can try like this guy.
