I read through their T&C on their website before placing order. I select preorder for Maxis as they have separate normal order and Maxis order. Then after input my details, they even have an option for me to tick for the free extended warranty (HSBC, UOB, Standard Chartered credit card instalment). Since it's free and I have the credit card, of course I just ticked and proceed to payment.
I was shocked after order confirmed and the email stated as below:
Thank you for your purchase!
Maxis customer service will contact you within 72 hours.
*When you qualify for Maxis plan, the RM300 will be converted to store credit.From there only they say RM300 deposit will become store credit... and that's after you paid only will know when receive order confirmed email.
They after further communicate with them, confirmed the RM300 deposit cannot offset the purchase during pick up. Furthermore, they said this is Maxis plan, cannot use credit card offer, so no extra extended warranty.... Then their website give the options to choose during the pre order....
End up what they listed in website (the extra 1 year warranty) cannot fulfilled. And what they never mentioned in T&C will applied after deposit paid (convert to store credit)
I have sent them all these evidence (screenshots) but they are not gonna admit it although I have proof what their mistake in the first place and not my problem at all.
Any comment from you guys over this?
Not to mentioned it's so difficult to communicate with them, no reply and take ages to reply no matter in FB messenger, WhatsApp or email.
