Yes, you download the app and enable the blocklists via Settings > Safari > Content Blockers. Usually when you launch the app they will guide you to do the same.
On iOS, the best blockers (afaik) are AdGuard and 1Blocker, although to get the best out of them requires you to pay for the additional features. AdGuard free version should be sufficient for most people, but it won't come close to something like Firefox + uBlock Origin on the desktop.


Worst case; Just pick up some case or screen protector to resell in Garage sales. Even if you have to sell at discounted rate, still lose like $50, which is better than losing $300.

I was actually very close to getting a Maxis plan 13 Mini for my mother from Machines. Luckily mum insisted on sticking to her Digi Prepaid line (she told me something about cheap IDD add-on or whatever), so I bought directly from Apple instead. Looks like I dodged a bullet there. Will make note to self - If want iPhone with telco plan, buy straight from telco.

Agreed, the cost of telco is sunk cost, whether you like it or not you still need telco service to use the phone.
For me, phones are expenses and I would not want to just spend the whole chunk of my money of something that depreciates so fast. Further I think we are getting a discounted price.

May i know which maxis centre? Ive been to so many near pj and all also say no stock til december cuz long backlog of reservations.

It’s luck game, some just so happen to have it right when you ask, and gone within the next minute..so I guess just need to visit these centres often and hope they have it right at the time you’re there..

Every week also i go check at least 5 maxis centers. Ss2, 1u, starling, ttdi etc always also dun have. Somemore i ROI on 1st october and left my number at all these centres. Pains me ppl say so easy to get but i cant find any sigh

Did you try to go on weekday? Weekends everyone out hunting for it so chances are slim....try go on normal working days..

I go every Friday cuz someone mentioned stock come in on Fridays. Anyways appreciate if anyone finds any maxis centers which have stock for 256/512 blue. Anywhere within klang valley also i will drive out there right now lol

I ROI in website, received ROI ID in sms on 1st OCT, said within 48 hours will contact me for downpayment. Today 17th Oct already still nobody call me, even nobody ask me for that downpayment. Already called maxis check and said their system indeed captured that ROI ID and now investigating and ask them to allocate the phone for me. 13PM 1TB Silver.

I have AirPods Pro, even it's warranty expired, but due to the Apple recall program, mine just entitled and managed to claim a new one few days back. So just use it as a new AirPods Pro now

I missed the midnight preorder on 1st. So on that morning 8.30 i went out to all the maxis centres hoping to walk in purchase. But no luck. So went back home try on maxis website. By that time no more reservation with rm300 left for the 256 sierra blues. So i just submit registration of interest(no downpayment required). A week later only got sms says they received my ROI and will inform me when stocks arrive. Thats the last i heard from them.

Should be refurbished, but also about the same as new la.
AASP will only replace brand new set it the device is still new in the market, or they run out of stock etc..
