Actually, looking at the battery capacity I kinda confuse on how 13 Pro that has more feature than regular 13, but has lower battery capacity (3125 vs 3240), still can last longer than regular 13 in term of playback or standby time (which as claimed in spec sheet)...these kinda sus to me

AW make a big different after watchOS 7.4.. before that using face ID device is suffering..
but including touch ID will be better... AW cannot use for payment... you will still need to go thru "face not recognized--> enter pin"

oh should be mainly because of the ProMotion display..
13 will always at 60Hz..while the pro series when u browsing web or read stationary it will reduce to 10Hz, watching movie 30Hz.. which is why the pro series can last longer

Knowing Apple, they will not have both though... Yeah, agree on the payment part. If only AW can be used for payments, hopefully Apple takes this into consideration for future enhancement.

If going back to under display or power button Touch ID is not in their consideration and we still have to wear face masks for years to come then perhaps they will have to innovate something like a retinal scan?

Ya, it remains to be seen how the 13 Pro will compare vs the 13 in the independent battery tests so we'll have to wait and see.

Apple's comparison is always like for like, as in they will compare 13 mini vs 12 mini, 13 vs 12, 13 pro vs 12 pro and 13 pro max vs 12 pro max. They won't give you official numbers but they will say it lasts how many hours more

Hopefully they will find way to improve it, I like AW actually. I'm seeing myself to keep using AW in the future.

I tried the apple watch unlock but need to key in codes in the apple watch. I disable it after a while.

I remember i removed it because i still need to key in codes and when i wanted to look at time i needed to key in codes in AW because of that.

I see, so 13 Pro may have the advantage on power consumption by ProMotion despite smaller capacity. Anyway I shall wait for the coming review, which some member here saying tonight shud have already. If the actual battery performance of 13 Pro is gooding then can proceed to get it already
