Do a video and prove to the seller that the graphic card is faulty and request him to send you a new one. He doesn't need the defective card back as it is not economic to repair. Usually they just replace with a new one.

correct, they dont have any ppl to repair anyway, they will just dump your spoil unit and give you a new 1, they just need to make sure you dont scam them.

china always ask people to ship back the item to get it fix / replace,

In fact, they know it is almost impossible to send back to china because of customs/ or shipping fees being more expensive than item, oversea buyers usually just give up..

This is how china do businesss.

Super easy for anything that is going out for china / Super hard for anything to get into china.

That is why china is super rich due to the in flow of money into the country

If you buy anything from China, treat the item as if there is no warranty. This should exclude items which are expensive and and are liable to need service such as graphic cards and smartphones.

Card faulty ?

Ship the item and declare secondhand/faulty item
Put low value

When ship back here declare rma coz u not buying, its yours in the first place

FedEx and other courier companies blocked me from filling up the shipping form when I told them it's used item. They said it's impossible to import used item.

QUOTE(hft @ Sep 16 2021, 04:09 AM)
Not mandatory IC, just recipient need to do clearing there by him/herself which add couple days to the procedure. As long right name and contact number. Send and returned item, not you sending as a selling shipment. No tax to them. You’re returning right?
*
Yah, want to return. But I already used it for a few months sadly. So it's not new anymore..

QUOTE(narf03 @ Sep 16 2021, 06:05 AM)
I suggest you just get another, its extremely difficult to ship it back into china and those companies are being honest to you, do not do it, you are wasting your money, maybe you need to send 10-20 times then only 1 time will get pass.

China do offer money to certain manufacturer producing products selling oversea, so when things go out they can claim money from the gov, so they will not allow things go out claim money, come back, go out and claim money again.
*
Is it the reason why..?? No wonder all courier companies stopped me immediately when I told them it's used item.

QUOTE(bengang14 @ Sep 16 2021, 06:18 AM)
Even on company level its extremely difficult. Especially if the item is used/second hand. I believe China have very stringent policy on these. Probably worried they will be used as dumping ground.
My company tried sending something back to repair, my vendor told us to never declare it as repair or used.
On a personal level, a seller in aliexpress rather send me a new watch than to have it return.
*
I tried to send using my own company with company invoice and all. But just like my previous replies, they said impossible to enter China if my price too expensive/the item is used. Which I can't declare as new or used. Since new item is too expensive already..

Bought from a computer shop in Taobao. They said needs to send in to check up to confirm first..

Yah, but shipping foods and clothes seem very easy and fast. No block at all.

Only way, if you know someone going to China, ask him to carry the card in and post it inside China. But I seriously doubt you will get any good outcome. The seller insisting to have the defective card back (instead of proof that the card is defective) knowing that it is almost impossible to send any used item into China does not give any confidence on his sincerity.

As you said, someone offers to buy the card for RM500. It may be wise to cut your loss.

Mind sharing with us what model of graphic card you bought from China? Are you sure it is genuine and not a Chinese knock-off?

You mean an RTX2060? There is no GTX2060 unless it is a fake. China can imitate any box.

For a RTX 2060 the price of RM2.8K you paid for a China supplier with dodgy warranty is very high. You could have purchased for the same price or less from a local supplier.
