I have everything from whiskey, cognac, wine and even beer at home.

Usually just beer for dinner and when working. Prefer to drink beer with friends too

Wine for when want to chill and watch some shows

Whiskey and cognac are only for a nice place, maybe at bars or some really nice place. At home also only for some special occasions will drink them.

Drink cheap liquor sahaja.

https://www.freemalaysiatoday.com/category/...d-sundry-shops/

QUOTE
Malaysia has an active local spirits industry which produces US$43.4 million (RM180 million) worth of cheap liquor per year.

These drinks have an alcohol content of 38% and are widely available at sundry shops and at almost every Chinese medical shop. The smallest bottle of liquor costs only RM1.50.

Some have western names like Apollo, 007 and Father Christmas while some are named after Indian historical figures such as Sivaji and Asoka. These are very potent drinks with their alcohol content ranging between 37% and 70%.
Cheap and can do the job, minum with friends nearby house gooding suda. Take off shirt and talk the night away during weekends.

i reduced my drinking after got diagnosed with fatty liver,

used to drink few times a week. now i only drink once or twice per month.

my poison is whisky and locally brewed moonshine called langkau / tuak. i rarely drink beer because its very expensive if i want to get wasted.

I got a few bottle at home but since 1.5 year ago...the bottle remain idle and collecting dust. Mostly gin like Ophir, botanist, some UK bottles, Roku....since first mco never had a drink....well ok I had mango tango cocktail at ippudo the other day ...man the kick from that cocktail was intense. Felt so tired after that.

Plan to bring those bottle as gift etc for next party whenever that happens

Kind of true. If you drink wine with a girl she can drink a lot because it’s light and sweet and then later on she will be crazy in bed. 1 bottle white and 1 bottle red and you gonna have yourself a good time.

Daily staple? No real staple these days.

I only drink at home these days and usually on my own as I don't like to share my booze tongue.gif

Dinners, if am having a steak or roast or stewed beef or lamb then would have it with a nice red wine. Fish or seafood meal then a nice white wine.

If I'm having a nice dessert after dinner then I like to have it with either Bailey's or a nice ice wine.

Other than that, I have a collection of various whiskies, schnapps and some fruity liquers to enjoy the evening. I tend to like my drink full served, room temperature and always with some classical music as well as a good book.

Nice Zenith Daytona you got there.

I have a question. How is the servicing for the zenith? Does our local RSC do it in-house or do they have to send back to Switzerland? Certain vintage models are shipped to Switzerland due to the lack of parts. I was wondering if it’s true for your Zenith.

Bordeaux red wine is not sweet. It’s a bit tart and acidic depending on the vineyard and year.

If you want sweet wine, you can try Muscat wine. Port wine is also quite sweet but that’s more of a dessert wine and if you drink too much, you will feel like vomiting.

12Yo very nice, sherry bomb and smooth. I am enjoying it as well. I guess you have tried bunnahabhain as well?

For a start I find lagavulin hard to drink, until I got myself a laphroaig 10. Now it is my best dram.

*
Hi bro, thanks
I sent RSC KL for quotation
parts are available, full service can be done in KL

Nice. It’s great that parts are still available.

Better take good care of that beautiful watch. The prices are way way above even the 6 digit Daytona prices and touching quarter of a million. This is the one true investment piece Daytona. The rest are just speculative pieces as once Rolex went in-house, I believe their production increased substantially for the 116520 and 116500.

Zenith Daytona’s are so rare that they are almost like unicorns nowadays. The production numbers I heard were very low due to Zenith didn’t provide much of their movements to Rolex as they prefer to keep it for themselves.

But i drink until my skin turn yellow because i dont really feel the effects so used to dunno when to stop. After that, stopped drinking hard liquor for a while and now only beer, and wine. After become simpson even a glass of whiskey will give me stomach ache and diarrhea already. sad.gif

Last week baru finish half a bottle of roku gin after 2 years of not having hard liquor.. laosai whole day huhuhu.

For kilkerran.. There is the heavily peated version which more peaty and less briney. NAS tough..

I like the kilkerran 8 cask strength.. More sherry influence. Similarly my fav Springbank is the 12 CS..which doesnt really have much sea taste..

Campbeltown has a distinctive taste.. Very different compared to Islay peat. The adage Springbank funk.. Try it and see.. You wont regret.

Yes.. Laga 11 is ridiculous priced due to the hype. Hard to justify its RM900 for it.
