Honda service cheap is it using semi synthetic engine oil? I knew Toyota definitely uses semi synthetic oil as standard pricing, want use fully synthetic oil then need to top up over RM100-150 something... and my colleague told me before his CRV 1.5T he need to top up for requesting a thicker viscosity engine oil coz he no confident using thin oil on turbo engine, forgot to ask him is it semi or fully synthetic oil...

largest wheel size for me is only 17" absolutely zero plans to upsize.

but yeah, UUHP is like, even more "In between" UHP and EHP.
i don't treat UUHP as "track tires", i only treat EHP as track tires, these are not Semi slicks. majority of Semi slicks are not DOT approved/non road legal also.
and yes, track tires "may be cheap" initial cost, but they last a lot shorter than most UHP and if you can only last, say 20k km vs PS4 can last 4k km, even if you bought same price as PS4, that twice replacement would have doubled your actual cost.

over my lifetime of limited track days and motorsports participation, I've personally used:
1) Achilles 123
2) Yokohama AD08R (across 3 vehicles)
3) Zestino Gredge 07R

very limited usage on driving friend/members' cars:
1) Nexen Sur4G
2) Vitour Tempesta Enzo
notice, they are all EHP and not semi slicks. (even though some shops or individual may classify them as such)

this is classified as Max performance, but the compound and sidewall stiffness is so EHP like, with the 220 TW, how is that even max performance when NVH is not in consideration AT ALL?
hell, my Zestino was 240 TW, even higher than Bridgestone rating their RE004 lol

basically, these tires are really good on bone dry roads, >30c
anything under 25c, or high water flow, prepare for a very fussy VSC system.
hell, even simple shifts up to 3rd gear can get TC to blink if i were to dump clutch too quickly

My battery is dying I think, daily cranking up sounds different and takes a tad bit longer. Got my car on 31/1/2022 and current mileage is 18k km. Thinking of either replacing it with Amaron or just wait until next month to change at Honda SC.

Ps4 peeling usually because of under inflation. Mine had no issue until end of life. Tyre pressure checked every 2-3 weeks tho. Checked with tyre pressure gauge, not trusting petrol station meter. And always checked during cold tyre.

EHEV not yet release 1 year leh, hard to gauge lol. Come back ask again next year maybe can have answerr lol

The main issue have with MC5 is that the side wall is to soft for my taste. I already try pump to 34-35psi and I still feel floaty

I’m using Honda’s authorized dashcam, direct to fuse. recording quality really… No eye see. Wanted to report a car cutting queue, pass by my side also cannot see number plate clearly. But considered I took eHEV and I don’t want any trouble in future from Honda Malaysia with all sort of donkey excuses to void my warranty.

Used their tint as well, don’t expect good heat rejection 😅 my previous car also use ecotint but can feel the difference… also same reason as above why I took their package. Another reason is SA gave me discount on tinted.

But using 12v port. Will the cable near port dangle around?
What about when I need to use the port for tyre pump. Disconnect power to camera everytime?

I already looking at A500 or A800 earlier but tot can direct go fusebox coz honda sure got port for dashcam still they offering one.

I pump at home when I like, cold pressure. My wife, kid, mom all spoiled by me.. I jaga all the kereta.

So cheap can get and no need installation. I ignorantly tot need to hardwire sensor into the tyre area only can work. I think I going to buy tpms for all my car, ya, I now learn how to call this.

Someone I know unfortunately involved in accident this weekend. His civic is out of warranty but the accident is definitely not his fault.

Can send the car to SC for repair and claim insurance from the other party? Will SC accept their cars that is out of warranty? Anyone got experience with this kind of issue?

just finished service, today car ngam ngam 1 year.
complained about steering rack, tuk sound and slightly sticky steering feel especially on highways.

technician and SA ask me to explain under what scenario, the sound will happen. (from their expression, i guess they know what's the issue already, just trying to pusing here and there)
i just tell them, LKAS Off, ACC Off, and jom kita pi test, u pandu confirm u akan tahu apa masalah.

during the test i asked him why this issue since FC still cant solved, initially he doesnt want to talk much about it, and asked me is it sound/sticky during u turn (very obvious trying to pusing cerita)

and i told him nicely, come on, xkan u dont know this is such a well known issue? and he started cerita about the well knows rack issue by Honda.

That hardwire thingy will void fuse and electrical system warranty. No want risk that coz this car really too many gadget. No want mod anything or void anything. Too old, no energy to play, kiasi liao.

Also have to start budgeting for 18" low profile tyre PS5 tyre in 3 or 4 years time. Ya, I'm a stupid no money but still wanna buy michelin PS4 or PS5 kaki. Love PS4 on my FD. Still change to overpriced PS4 now coz PS5 not available for 16".
