Can PM me the shop name in Ipoh?
A lot of these guys with RM1.5k is 6 months warranty, they are based on swap - you send in your module they give you their recond.
RM700 is 3 weeks warranty they repair your module. This type they say see your luck.....

Am I right?
*
got it from another accord owner who had repaired his at this shop. still ok. iinm the shop will repair it on modulator, same goes to the rm1.5k. only SC will replace it new but rm8k. mine still ok at 197k km, if kene will shoot to ipoh for a holiday

Yeap confirmed

Front is about -0.3
Rear is about -1.1

Rear is unexpectedly having really high negative camber.
No wonder the much better driving feedback/feel (not necessarily better performance)

Front is having caster angle/Ackerman formulation which is very conti car look during full lock to lock turns and probably didn't need so much camber.
Not to mention the uneven wear to huge majority of owners
*
this is why on ps4, it will keep botak from inner side first. even with rotation periodically, for the 18" tyre.

Regular paint shop can even do body repair. In JB quite a few I could recommend, but not sure where it would be in other states. Honda go to 4S centre, got body & spray on-site, but unsure how long is the queue. https://www.honda.com.my/dealers and filter body & paint centre.
*
Agreed. Honda Body paint is just overpriced & overated. Ask Sg Long Kajang for repaint full body, quoted for rm7k+ without any repair etc

The car body paint job can be fixed, the headlight scratches, can't be fixed, unless you changed the whole unit. Will have to live with it.

I wonder if you can change the headlamp plastic...
*
Yes there is. Just that hopefully there are parts available on market since this model is still brand new

Got source? Specifically what tuning?

I'd reckon it'll be insignificant to 99% of drivers and even more so to drivers who change rims just for looks.
*
Doubt so. If that cost some extra penny to Honda Malaysia, they will reject it, less profit

Just had my servicing done - Battery test says Good & Recharge - but not sure if I should just replace it with Amaron battery now

Voltage - 12.16V
Rated - 450EN
Measured - 379EN
IR - 7.63 mΩ
State of Health - 84%
State of Charge - 38%
*
Considering nowadays battery can come to your place at anytime, i will extend it. If anything, grab phone, open battery apps, they will come in short time.

Rattling on pillar b...i think. N apparently this seems wide spread issue but many honda sc seems ignorant to fix this. Any sifus know any mechanic that familiar with honda FC? 2 times going SC 2 times they fail to solve the issue. Given up on them for good on this issue

*
Try global amity bangi sc, long time ago, they resolved my rattling there

my previous one only lasted 1 week beofre it knock again.
maybe in March will need another replacement
*
the old steering rack cost rm7.3k while the new version cost rm3.3k. on many owners, the old SR even last only 8 days. not sure if a cheaper version will last longer, finger crossed.

i think the 7.3k is the whole assembly.
3k is only the column without the motor control unit
maybe the problem lies in the column
*
last time, there is one owner on fb - civic FE group who shared the photo of both SR, the newer one is kinda simpler. but I did not find the pictures now.

Yey!
My 4800km ehev got tikus/bird sound when creeping or below 20kmj. Already book appointment coming monday. Macam from tires.

Tg malim > alor gajah ckd.

Long live x50. 30k km have no issues except dead batteries and one time leaking at sunroof after car wash (the rubber got terlipat).

Any civic kena this issue?
*
which SC? please prepare to get taici answer from SC, it is normal, is it approved by factory SC, nothing can be improved here, others are also the same.
Solution, find SC that is ok to assist. my experience, Global Amity Bangi for the rattling issue. For warranty claim, Sg Long 4S Kajang and New Era Kajang.

For Proton, 3S HZN Kelana Jaya is the best for a warranty claim, since u owned x50

No tikus noise but I can list many other issues with alor gajah junk quality. I can recall these on top of my head. At times I think why I didn't get the Mazda 3 (just because I want the 182PS/240NM) laugh.gif

1. Steering rack - Waiting for warranty
2. Rattling (door cards, a piller, seatbelt) - SC fix fix and fix still reoccur
3. Window squeaking (both front sides) - SC say tinting cause this, heck the sound was there even before I sent for tinting
4. Boot spring lift making noise - SC say normal laugh.gif
*
Alor Gajah issue here normally. heck, even the 2015 car had that rattling u mentioned on no 2. Send SC they just doing nothing there. Dont foresee any improvement made by Melaka CKD.

On serious note, which car doesnt hv rattling sound eh?

serious answer, those CBU Japan model, and Conti Recond. The x70 ckd front area has no rattling, but rear tonneau cover x70 does.

Went to Putrajaya for work the past 3 days, and just arrived back in JB. When I went to Putrajaya, I drove normally even though it was raining almost the entirety of trip. When coming back to JB today, the weather was good, so I challenged myself to hypermile since I have no rush to be back.

Going to Putrajaya, I got 12.8km/l since I whack til 201km/h at certain stretches, but coming back I achieved 20.5km/l, the best I got so far on this car. The toll charges is higher than my fuel cost laugh.gif the trip took 30mins longer than it should when I drive normally. I won’t be doing this again since it was quite boring and stressful (to me).

good job for small displacement turbocharge engine + cvt. The best I get for 2.4 NA + 5 gear, from Bandar Bukit Mahkota - JB is at 15.5km/l (based on meter), constant 110-120kmh (not using cruise control), and driving at night time. Same as u, boring as h. luckily get to play Spotify on HU via Bluetooth. From JB - KL, drove as fast as traffic allowed, at 150kmh constant and some at 180kmh, it gets me 12-12.5 km/l based on meter.

thinking of cancelling the cx30 booking n go for civic ehev. waiting damn long n today they are launching the ckd cx30 n SA told me PMgrey high p+ (it replaces the previous cbu high ) need to wait 3-6month

hows the car. any issues. this gonna be my daily driver replacing my 10 year my mazda 3. so just need a car that car last. worried about the complexity of the ehev after 5 years.
any opinion.
*
iiwu, civic ehev. reason, even though it is cheaper for cx30 ckd, it just the same features-wise, and design-wise as per cbu cx30 back in 2020. so basically 2020 vs 2023 model. The interior for Mazda will win vs Alor Gajah made for NVH, based on my time with CX5 ckd vs any Honda Melaka made. If u really take care for RV, buy a regular Turbo Civic.
