Just wondering those with kids (1 or 2), do you think the civic is a suitable family car?

Why not. Civic have the most space amongst C segments. I believe the new gen should be the same

It’s not a official booking where the SA didn’t register the booking in the system. It’s just a booking with the Honda dealer/SA and they have a Queue list in the dealer itself. So, when Honda announce officially open for booking. They will register it by bookings date.
So, just find a Honda SA and pay the booking fee of RM500 will do. smile.gif

I am no big fan for 18" rim. Ride will not be as comfortable. Hence, if V spec comes with leather seat and reasonably equipped better then the 10th generation face-lift then why not

In that say, we don't need to confirm the variant upon booking right? biggrin.gif

Anyone knows if the 10th gen cvt suffers bad reliability like those in Nissan? And if this new gen is using a diff cvt tranny?

Why not? A spacious family C sedan with lots of safety features, reasonable handling with decent power. Even for the E spec though finishes could be lower spec.

it's just my personal opinion, and I don't drive

Civic is the best value C segment, i have to agree. its the cheapest japanese around actually.
but as a father of 2, and with an aging mother at hometown in mind, i feel civic too low to the ground and is more geared and design towards being sporty. (ie bumpier ride).
i like civic, no doubt. i would have enjoyed it if I'm still in a two persons world.

but when one say family car, civic would never pop into my mind. so does mazda 3, even though i like it too, but the passenger seats are just too cramp.

fiqqyz was asking whether Civic suitsble for those with 1 or 2 kids. So, why not?
I am aware that rear seat of civic sits low hence, for elderly quite inconvenience to get in and out. My mum is 88 years old and if I were to own a Civic, I would prefer her to sit at the passenger seat than the rear.
By the way, I have yet to own a Civic.

Errr 10th gen civic overall Civic is low seating position but the passenger seat much lower than the back
with no height adjustment

for the elderly, for sure the back seat is much better than the front passenger

not sure of the 11th gen

the minus is that the rear door is a bit small for the liking
