This is quite outdated, but I've just started playing the old MHF. I'm stuck at the 3* wyvern egg quest.

Either I'm getting whooped by the wyvern or I get run over by the bullfangos when I'm carrying the egg.

I have expert backpacking and mega juices, btw. How ler?

First go carry the egg, then just drop it straight away. The monster in different areas should change by now. Go and clear the monsters on the route you're gonna take later. You can kill the wyvern too if you wish, it's optional. After you've confirm all areas are clear, go and take the egg again and happily run back to your camp.

why not jus play mhf2, there are no storyline involved( at least not a deep one)
and mhf2 has a lot of improvement compared to MHF
egg carrying quests are the worst quests ever XD

Yeah, you should play MHF 2 really, much more contents.

Anyway, I'm guessing the wyvern is Rathalos. Yeah, it will get the job done if you know what you're doing but it's not necessary really, if Rathalos is in the area then just go to another area with the egg and wait till he leaves. It's not really that long. Just give him a min or two.

make poison battle axe, trust me, attack is quite fast n u can block his wind blow attack, no other poison does it all

yea , it kept attack and moving around , well just find for opening if ur melee"ing"

i kept shaving its sides close to head

You can get Inferno sac from G Rank fire breathing wyverns.

the easiest way to get inferno sac = 6* double kutku quest.

good money + good sac + easy handling. LOL

any tips on tigrex... i been pwned badly its kangkang arms + powerslide freakin deadly

What weapon you're using first? Different weapons have different approach.
