why want to pay less for old vios model when the new facelift is out? You will regret it later man. Its like buying an old car with a new price tag.

old vios still a very good car to drive ... but don't expect lexus quality lar

but now i will say almost finish stock already because last 6 months, 5-6k cash discount really a good deal if compare to city

no any old stock for few week already.
Since the new vios is launching soon, no point they still sell the old stock to you....they only launching new vios when the old stock are clear.
ya, no more promotion for new vios. correct me if i'm wrong.

I've waited for months already, so I booked. What's up?

any car maker also wont give discount on new car for the first few months ...

may be he's doing some market survey..

they even tell u this is lauching "discounted" price... later will increase further after "xxx" unit sold...

No discounts given but at least press the sales person for some free gifts. They're afford to give you that.

my sister book the car few months ago d.. car will b arrive next month.. i can't wait to drive the new vios...

well, i understand it this way:

say u bought a car in Jan2008, by Jan2009 ur car is of age=1year...
if u bought the same car in Dec2008, by Jan2009, ur car is also age=1year...

it means the earlier u buy a car in a specific year, u enjoy the car longer while it depreciates over time...

thats why sometimes we got attractive promotions at the end of the year as the dealer trying to clear away all their stocks before their car is older by one year...

it doesn't matter if you plan to drive the car for long term ...

else if you are those that like to change car every 2-3 years then it really matter ...

if you got a car now, then better wait till january 2008, that time also can know how good this car is from some owner ...

Wait more and you miss the chance for getting a 'CKD' car from Thailand. Plus once the rumor of it as being 'good', by the time you going to book it, you might need to wait for months since everybody is booking - recall the MyVi incidents.

My reason to buy the car is that I just need the car.


Btw, if you can wait, why not just wait. Honda might come out something new too.

for thais, same cars are considered CKD to them...

Legroom: Latio > Vios > City
Headroom: Latio >> Vios > City
Bootspace 475L < City 500L.
Cabin entrance space: Vios > City

So for the new vios before complaining is not spacious, complain City first.

well, from what i have been observe, the most complain from people towards the new vios is its look/appearance & interior...

space is something they don't complan this round...

Well. It is just weird that people in Lowyat forum condemn its look, whereas people in Thai, Sg, even in Bali they praise the look. Taste is just different here.
