2 weeks ago there was Hotlink top-up promo. Too up RM10 and get RM15 extra when pay with Maybank. That was such a good offer. Now there's no offer at all for topups.

It has been like that for some time, though this may be first time they actually announced it. It makes sense for those short term passes to be "cheaper" at off-peak times.

How about hostpot? need to subscribe another additional plan before use hotspot? or 10 gig are usable for hotspot

HI guys, I did MNP from U mobile to Hotlink prepaid 365 internet plan, on the 1st day i bought 10 GB internet plan, but surprisingly exactly after 30 days my net speed was reduced, till 30 days it shows 3G in my mobile, now it shows E only, can't even make whatsapp calls.

Does anyone facing this problem.

could be because they working on 3G sunsetting, u stay in klang valley ?
once they shutdown 3G, your phone wont able to get the signal except for 2G( E=EDGE) and 4G (LTE) only. and depending on the area and the cell tower, they will refarm the 3G frequency to 4G frequency, so you might get better 4G coverage. so maybe still in progress.

as for now, to confirm this, you may call Maxis CS.

mostly likely
- they only support those phone that already been tested on their network. they dont have large collection of phone models, so only tested with recents model.
and some old phone might not support vowifi.
- this system quite new, so cant fully support huge traffic yet until its stable enough to let thru the traffic. so need to wait

actually vowifi still charged as normal phone call. its not like whatsapp call/ internet call. the callee might still using normal phone line.

normal phone
phone A> cell tower > phone network > cell tower > phone B

vowifi
phone A > wifi > phone network > cell tower > phone B

But according to Maxis website FAQ, wifi calling is not available while roaming.
