Anybody has converted their existing prepaid line to this new plan via Hotlink app? Wonder how long it would take to be effective?

Change of plan via the app has normally taken effect almost immediately. Give or take 3 minutes, as far as I can remember.

How much discount can prihatin users claim under this plan, since there are no monthly passes?

RM20 - RM15(prihatin) = RM5 for 10GB

This plan is definitely a strong contender for Yes 4G where both had 20GB for RM20 and on top of that the data expire much later than a month. Most of all, Maxis coverage literally slam dunks on Yes 4G. I would imagine people picking Yes 4G over this is those who happens to move around area where Yes is overperforming Maxis.

Better do at nearby Service Centre. This is because, to activate the SIM (that we bought at 7-e), the failure rate of scanning our selfies is 99% to be failed. Their "Hotlink Daftar" Android/iOS app is 99% NOT reliable...LOL... read all the reviews in the Google PlayStore.

Thank alot Azhar75 for the super useful tips.
Then I better do the online fill-up form and request a new SIM send to me. Appreciate your help!

Yes 4G RM 15 for 10GB vs Hotlink RM 20 for 10GB, still a great value considering the data validity

the other option is YOODO,
RM20 = 20GB

its kinda shit for me for YES is that only data allow on iphone,
not call and sms (out and in)
but after all, its free, so why not

Because Apple had not added Yes to supported carrier.

Wow, I've tried to understand but I have no idea how this plan works. I'm too old for this shit.

buy RM 5 to upgrade, buy RM 30 to have it valid for 365 days (usual is 90 days?), and buy RM 20 for 10GB valid for 365 days.

If used up 10 GB, then buy again .
