it's still good to have options

mine has one hour and one day passes that could be useful for short term heavy data needs

everyone got different hotlinkmu

for example, mine currently include

4gb/1 day/rm5

1.5gb/2 hrs/rm1.80

so those are cheaper than the 365 passes if the time is enough

still have potential for holiday binge

not sure on change of plan but their online bundle has 60 days initial validity

" The Hotlink Pantas Online Bundle pack is RM25. This pack is preloaded with RM2 credit and a 10GB Internet pass which is valid for 365 days. Upon activation, the plan gives you 60 active days and 30 inactive days. "

someone change plan first, need evidence

the wording about 60 days may just mean the first top up after switching

it's not intentional

just some holes in maxis re-writing of history

both plan are limited

Unlimited is limited primarily in speed

Pantas is limited in quota

best to call CS for that

there is no self service option afaik

yes, I noticed this change recently, Maxis seems to have whitelisted the Hotlink app..

U Mobile have been doing like this long time already

now just waiting for DiGi to do similar

update: after checking with DiGi, they claim to have something similar.. however, all I see is an offline page in the app that redirects to ussd options for reloading or extending validity

Call Me Alert is a service that alerts you when someone you called earlier and was unreachable, can now be called successfully.

It's a bit much that Maxis signs new users up for a free trial, then expects us to cancel but at least you can cancel immediately if you want to.

Missed Call Alert is free and will alerts you if a call didn't reach you because your phone was off or out of coverage etc.

yeah, upon further checking it does seem maxis bundles all the services together

let me test later.. normal missed call sms always used to work for me regardless I don't pay this CMA nonsense

update: tested and yeah no sms received on my pantas hp

my voicemail is active, so I just hang up without leaving message

voicemail is another annoying thing we have to cancel.. I will do that later and see if it makes a difference

there's actually no monthly plan

you can either top up rm10 each month for 30 days validity, or buy 365 days validity for rm30

data starts at rm2 for 1gb and will last for one year so long as you stay active
