QUOTE(dzariq @ Sep 20 2007, 08:16 PM) true..honestly...in my opinion its either BL or u go all out for HL...i agree with ralf...if ML got disc brake....i take already..but none...and for me..im changing the rims...no point buying ML... ...Disc brake does make a big difference...it release heat faster, unlike spongy rear drum brake.. foldable rear seat?..why the hell would i want dat?...unless i want to orgy ramai2 at the back... airbag is the only advantage i see in ML...but dat costs over 4k extra...with aditional 25kg extra weight as compare to BL... |

Really not sure why the M Line is without rear disc brake. With the disc it will be the best choice (w/o ABS EBD etc). Maybe P1 want people to buy the H Line but why only limited stock for H-Line

As mentioned many times, front brakes are more important because power is transfered to the front wheels, and for front wheel drive, power distribution is all on the front. Rear brakes are just to assist e-braking, that's all.
Rear brake disc performance is more significant if it was rear wheel drive or all-wheel-drive vehicle. |

I saw a persona on the road today.
Well on first sight I recognise it as a persona. Although the front is like Gen2, somehow you still recognise is a persona. Quote of the day : Friend complain when see persona : Proton no creativity la, Neo,Gen2 and Persona front light all look roughly the same Reply from another friend : Err, then those BMW and Mercedez their front also look the same wat, why never complain? *quiet* |

think this way la...
wira is sedan, satria is hatchback pesona is sedan, gen2 is hatchback just that tis time, the launch is terbalik... gen2 hactch first then followed by sedan. good point is that a lot of stuff are shared with gen2. i think those aftermarket eagle eyes for gen2 shud fit pesona Added on September 20, 2007, 11:08 pmimagine... solid white pesona, with eagle eyes This post has been edited by lj0000: Sep 20 2007, 11:08 PM |

In fact, most of the modern vehicle is advance now, u cannot tell the difference on normal driving what's t difference btw rear drum n rear disc! the most significant difference...try this---> do a handbraking U-turn..90/180/360 degree for enthusiast driving n Look, i still prefer t rear disc..the brake pad on rotor clamp at the disc.. Imagine you have big rims, eg: 17" and super tiny rear drum..Not nice.. |

Agree. Some people just want rear disc brakes so it will look good with their rims. Since the Waja, all Proton 1.6L and above cars come with rear disc brake. Too bad the M-Line don't have it.
The BL is with CD player only can it be change to a MP3 player? |

But i felt rear disc brakes on an non ABS car has an limitation that once all the 4 disc brakes were locked u are as good as dead. That why at least the rear drum brakes will be ur last defence as drum brakes wont lock in even of emergency braking and the front disc brakes were locked.
Correct me if i am wrong. |
