QUOTE(PGV3910 @ Nov 3 2007, 12:35 PM) this review is quite fishy i think my 8800gts can play crysis wif high setting 1024*768 32bit wif average 35fps.. 8800gt on crysisdo you mean in vista or window xp mode? in xp i can set to high and get average 40+ fps. but in vista (high) only get around 20-30fps.

So basically for those GTS users who wanna change to GT(while doing that terpaksa jual GTS murah2) but don have big widescreen monitor, my advise-keep your GTS la. Coz u cant really feel any diference palyin games with both cards. Im so fully contented with my GTS hehe.

It's not worth upgrading from GTS to GT or even the new GTS unless they double in performance.

I wouldn't say upgrading from gts to gt is a wise move, i rather upgrade the gts to something more powerful den gt since the performance between tis two card is not like heaven and hell

YUP!! my fren bought leadtek 8800GT playin on 19 inch lcd and my GTS on 17", DOES NOT feel any difference. In fact u wudnt know which comp has GT and which comp has GTS. Unless if u play on >20 lcd with high resolution there'l be noticable difference. Coclusion: changing from GTS to GT not worth it. Bcoz nowadays ppl take advantage on GTS price. rm600 for GTS is like stealing man.

Not to say rich or poor, it depends on individually. If all are to say not worth, then there's no market anymore for any products out there.

yeap, it really depends of individual taste.
my personal opinion on 88GT vs 88GTS 320 88GT: single slot solution. more clearance on other PCI devices. louder fans? (since thinner fans needs to spin faster than fatter ones to produce same amount of cfm). anyone beg for differ? better benchmark figures cheaper than gts (guess this is the main selling point) more memory compared to gts (handy for upcoming DX10 games)
88GTS 320: fat! thicker heat sink (added cost?) lower benchmark figures. anyone can tell whether im runnin GT or GTS while gaming? more expensive. nevermind the initial selling price, since they have stopped production anyway. handicapped by the limited memory.
If someone is upgrading from Geforce 7 series or 85/86 series to 88gt, then they'll notice a significant improvement (applies on 22" LCD or bigger screens). But if one is selling his/her 88gts to get 88gt, imo, there's not much gain rather than adding numbers to the benchmark scores.
my 2 cents.
Cheers.

I want to add another cent. 8800GT - single-slot cooler, all the hot air is vented into your casing. Not that good for closed-cased system. In terms for performance comparison, the 320mb unfortunately lose by a wide margin. However, a better comparison would be with the 640mb. But of course, still lose....

For me, can't say much la... Nvr ever tried bfore Geforce 8 series at all... So, IMO, the people who has GTS actually can purchase another GTS for SLI for performance boost... At least better value that changing to GT... If they hav money to buy GT, why not just buy another GTS?? Just add a little bit onli mah.... As for me, I'm changing from 7 series to 8 series for the sake to play on widescreen and also to play newest games.... IMO onli... No fire fire....

I oso say current GTS owners better grab 1 more GTS for SLI. Since now garage got fire sales. N 2x 8800GTS is definitely better than single GT.
