Honestly, there arent any risk jailbreaking the iPod Touch, unlike the iPhone. Screwing up the jailbreak in iPhone will have a chain-reaction like consequences especially on the phone function. For the iPod Touch, there arent any risks. All you need to do if you screw up is restore it back to factory default since it already is at 1.1.1. If restore is being stubborn, do the 10-10 reset, by pressing the Power button and Home button together, and then release the Power button and keep the Home button pressed. iTunes will prompt for a restore . Voila! Factory default, even the Apple folks cannot differentiate if you have jailbroken it or not.

um guys, i put all my songs into my ipod d.

ok here comes the prob...ok lets say an album called "Meteora" by linkin park is in my ipod and there are lets say 10 tracks. But how come its being divided, so basically there are 2 Meteora albums in my ipod. 4 tracks in the 1st album and the rest on the second. Isnt that weird??? ALL the spellings of the album and artists are similar.

Ive tried deleting them and put it again in my ipod, but it still wont work. i hope some of u guys understand my prob.....

Did you double check the release date, the genre and so on for each track?

yep i did, the prob still occurs....

try to double check the spelling. sometimes you might have an extra space ' ' in your artist or album name. 'Linkin Park' and 'Linkin Park ' will be divided to two different artist. same goes to the albums. that usually happens to me, lol. other than that, it might a bug?

Select all the songs belonging in one album, right-click, choose Get Info. Do a thorough edit there (add Album title, year of release, genre, and album art) and Save. All of them will stay under one album now.

This would not happen if you rip the MP3s from an actual audio CD. This most probably happen, if you have either downloaded it off somewhere (most probably from a non-legit source) and the source had labeled it according to their liking. Adding them together would not instantly lump them together into one single album.

Guys I have a few questions on the iPod touch. Answer them for me please
1. Can we use the iTunes Music Store here in Malaysia? Is it fast?
2. Does the YouTube feature work properly?(for some reason I can never watch the trailers in my front row(that's my iMac lah)
3. Is the screen scratcable like any other touch-screen device or is it more "special"?
4. Does it come with that stand thingy that let's the Touch stand on it? I saw a video of someone unboxing it but I saw a stupid small piece of plastic instead of the stand...
5. You can't play iPod games on it. Right?
6. Is it better than the iPod Classic, in terms of coolnest and simplicity? I'm also tempted to get the Classic because of it's huge memory space.
7. Just in case my dad won't approve cos of the price, will there be a fair where they'll sell it for a cheaper price? When will that be?

i try an ipod touch today at an apple store, i tried to watch youtube using safari, and it requires flash player. Can flash player be installed ?

Sigh........ the Youtube app staring back at you on the Home screen is there for a reason.
