See seems like C is a worthy choice. If the culture is positive, the extra distance shouldn't matter much.

The other option is closer but the chance of stress and other negative aspects might outweigh the petrol, toll and congestion with higher pay.

C seems better. But I've had a job with almost 80km back and forth daily, once you start being bored and miserable, very easily performance drop because the distance will be the first thing to hinder your motivation. Choose wisely. Plus need to consider, 8km jam is nothing compared to 38km jam. If you ride high cc bike sure help.

Tho I read in one news article before, worker with the longest daily distance to go to work die faster.

The interviewer is your direct boss? Go with gut instinct on this, it will tell you which one something not right. Straight away cross that out. Your gut is very good at detecting red flags, don't ignore it.
