my family believes in it, my mum die2 believe family saka now is haunting her... few years back kept dragging everyone to visit ustaz, darus syifa, healers.. which all of em did jackshit in my opinion

at around the same time, I also had persisting chesty cough which to this day I still believes it was just due to my work stress and fatigue.. but noooo, my mum kept dragging me along to visit healer, and guess what.. those people will always say "it's jin/saka" and there's some sort of 'hairs' (typical of santau materials) in my throat that caused my sickness..

and their treatments man... jeez.. u would not believe what sort of disgusting 'healing treatments' they did on me... forced to drink sireh water that's mixed with tobacco.. drinking many gallons of gathered surau/masjid water that's been recited with surah yassin/qursi.. rubbing (semi-scratching) my neck while reciting quran verses.. one of the healer also spits on my feet while reciting some jampi/verses.. there's also one jawa healer standing on my chest/pressing my chest..

I was not very religious even before all that, but all those crap experiences with these things and those 'islamic healers', made me become full-on atheists

I can get where you're coming from, mesti ko dah menyampah asyik dengar people close to you attribute everything to benda halus kan? Well your job is to just pekakkan telinga and nasihat what you can. Jangan complicate matters, at the end of the day benda ni semua jin / syaitan.

Just remember ujian manusia tu semua lain2, some people are tested immensely with these things, and I don't discount the fact that there are people who've never come across any supernatural stuff their whole lives. Keep in mind though, that in itself may be a test for you, and there's a strong possibility that you're not 'equipped' to deal with it, because dalam Quran pun ada sebut, 'No man is burdened with more than he can bear.'

My advice is jangan angkuh thinking we know everything that's black and white, because that grey area can encroach into our lives sometimes, without us even realising it. If you've never experienced it first hand, sometimes it's best to just say syukur

I was involved in those things because following my brother. But I'm more inclined to say all that I've seen is mental issue. We been feeding the patient with it and the patient believe it. And when going to this ustaz, the placebos effect cure the patient. That my conclusion. Video in socmed also shows people possess look like mental patient to me. Your friend claim he saw kids climbing walls and not record it.

I was a sceptic. Then my wife kena. Despite not believing, I brought her to perubatan islam as to her request. After 3 visits she's ok but I still didnt believe, secretly thought that shes having a mental disorder of some sort..

So I decided to learn the perubatan islam myself from one of the so-called healers, just to prove that this is all BS.

Boy I was very wrong..
