comparing the hotstar app on both my sony android tv and apple tv 4k I can say that the experience is better on apple side. dolby vision looks better and the sound is also louder, also the subtitle is bigger not tiny like on android.

For those who are using WARP on Unifi to access D+ International, got some issues with routing.
Got colocation to HK.
The only way to fix this is to use a different VPN or Smart DNS for a temporary time while TM fix this.
I just kena yesterday.

That is my experience as well. The Sony TV Disney+Hotstar app PQ & Aq is quite ok but nothing compared to the app on Apple TV 4k. Even normal HD & without Dolby Vision the PQ is 1st rate. The subtitle controls also v easy to use

To change the subtitle preference on android tv:

Setting - Accessibility - Captions.

Not all apps will use this universal subtitle setting, Netflix and this Disney+ Shitstar for example.

Edit: Sorry, the setting only applies to the Disney+ app, not Disney+ Shitstar.

Found a workaround.
1. access via Adroid App/Web
2. Add the episode to the watchlist. Must be episode, not the show
3. Continue watching on TV via watchlist

guys, wanna ask. anyone here use mi box s? does Disney + Hotstar available on Mi Box S?

Yep. My LG facing same issue. Also using workaround using region. Appranetly all drama cant play. Even mandalorian i cant play, last week still can.

No issues on my Android TV and LG TV.
4K HDR on both my TVs.
Using Getflix.

Maxis Fiber no issue at my other house, only Unifi.
Nevermind.
Will restart router to get better IP.

ohh great, ur unifi how many mbps? cos last time i try expressvpn US server, macam struggling to get 4k HDR. but netflix ok netflix can wait buffer abit then will go up to 4k reso.

Using unifi Air BTW.

So maybe the lg tv issue is because of cloudflare kl colo routed to hkg and thats why unifi users using lg tv cant access loki and other series. Movies is ok. Im gona try the workaround.

Yes I am using WARP and now no more access since colocation changed to HK. It seems cloudfare can't change the colocation. I guess that's it. No more disney+ singapore for me....

BTW how to do it via smart dns? Smart DNS is an app too?

Hi.. my disney+ hotstar certain series and movies didn't have voice sound only background sound. Anyone got solutions? I'm watching from sharp android tv.

But using this Workaround to add the episode into watchlist. The episode is stuck.
So if want to go to different episode, will have to start the watchlist and increase it episode by episode?
