If you know the workaround, you can make Disney+ SG works in MY.
Only use 1.1.1.1 WARP app from Cloudflare to access it.
And also need to install Disney+ APK from the web or make a US based Google Account to download it.

I use VPN to jump between countries.
It is possible.
So far SG catalog is more packed than US.
I use free Cloudflare 1.1.1.1 app to access it.

I mean previously I use Getflix to access my Disney+ US.
The issue with Getflix it is fixed to US region only.
Due to no limitation of region access for Disney+ app, I use Cloudflare free 1.1.1.1 VPN app to access SG region. And can get all the Star tab content.
Loading also really fast using the Cloudflare free VPN.

Not like D+H app, if you use VPN, automatically blocked.

For Cloudflare 1.1.1.1, it supports Android, iOS, Windows and macOS only.
For LG TV, you need to use smartDNS service, but most DNS service can access US Disney+ only.
And also you need to pay for the service.
And some website might reroute you to the US version due to DNS leak if you use smartDNS service.

Well that is the compromise you have to deal with if connect to TV from your laptop.
Anyway if you really want to take advantage of the app from the TV, I suggest you take a smartDNS service to enjoy the best from Disney+.
But as I said, you can only access the US version, not the other countries version.

Yep more expensive, but you get more DV/DA contents on D+ than D+H MY.
The only drawback is no local content in there.
And oh a better app experience and 4 devices per stream.
I am still going to pay for my US version and maybe will use my MY subscription for local content.
RM5 only per month for me.

Nope, because we have a different version of D+ aka D+H.
Whereas SG D+ subscription can access Canada, US, UK, AU, NZ etc (where D+ subscription is supported) at any time.
Whether via VPN or travelling there.
Our D+H is designed for third world countries, so the access will be available only in our country and they did this so that people from other countries cannot subscribe to a cheaper version of D+.
That is my take on D+H vs D+.

Anyway we still get the lower version of Raya and the Last Dragon.
HDR vs Dolby Vision and Dolby 5.1 on my iPad Pro.
D+H is the loser here.

Yes it is available but need to pay extra for it.
US version is roughly need to pay around RM130~.
The cheapest price I saw is AU, around RM 110~.
Other countries never check.

Anyway for me just wait 3 months and you can watch it later on without any additional cost.
But since cinemas is closed, I feel like want to pay extra for Black Widow next month.
Marvel movies is a must watch for me.

Finally someone understands my issue with D+H.
I really hope they will scrap D+H and reintroduce D+ properly into MY.
Seriously D+H is just bad overall.

You have which Disney service?
D+ or D+H?
I have no issues at all accessing Disney+ SG using the Cloudflare app via PC and mobile.

And btw, sorry for the wrong info I have been telling everyone, my account is D+ AU.
That is why I have no issues accessing Star contents including the R rated one.

It seems D+ US account is blocked from accessing D+ Star R rated due to limited content filter placed on the US account based on the info I found in the Internet.
My AU account can access up to R21 whereas US one is up to TV14 rating content only.

So my suggestion is you subscribe D+ from SG or any other countries that have Star built in.
If not, you are not able to access Star R rated content at all.

P.S. I subscribed to the D+ AU since day one of launch via Google Play. No wonder I have no issues at all with my account.

If you are using the app, make sure it is the latest app version.
Or next is to clear the cache of the app.

May I know is your account is D+ US?
If it is so, it might be related to content filter of the account.
US account have a max up to TV14, so you will not be able to access it due to the type of the account.
If you get an account with Star built in, no issue.
Mine is D+ AU, so my content filter can go up to 18.

Hi bro.
PM me personally.
It seems you got issue due to localisation of Disney+ service.
US account don’t have the R rated content, so you will not see it no matter what region you are connected whether to AU or CA to due to US account only supports max PG13 contents only.
I have changed my account localisation from AU to SG, now I can see maximum R21 content where previously only maximum 18 content only AU account like FX The Strain.

The contents come from the same server like US I think.
But the contents available is based on the region.

Well I have just assisted jimmychangas to get his private account.
And working flawlessly on SG VPN with SG account.
The price I paid is in RM.
He paid in USD.
RM28.99 per month or RM299.99 per year.
All via my Google Play MY account.

Disney+ US vs SG, AU, CA etc is not the same due to content restrictions imposed on account.
So when you have a US account, even change VPN you will not see content above PG13 due to Disney+ US don’t have Star tab.
So any content R or 18+ you will not see it due to the limitations of the US account.
So I suggest for everyone to obtain any account besides US version in order to get the best selection of contents.

This I learn all about it yesterday.

They have change it and have a more extra step to get it in RM.
So in order to explain it here is a bit difficult.

But do remember Star tab is only offered in other countries besides the US.
So the content filter will stuck at PG13 in MY standard or TV14 in US standard.
