using ATV 4K, disney/hotstar PQ is definitely much worse than Netflix/ Amazon prime. no support for Dolby Atmos also. will not cont my subs.

Afternoon fellow Astro sub. Unfortunately, Disney+Hotstar not integrated into UltraBox yet. You have to go thru' either ur TV app, PC/tablet like many forumers here - hopefully will be smooth for you. For me I use Apple TV and the PQ is fantastic. The quality is ter just that the apps on various platforms need to be upgraded to take adv of Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos altho I dun hv those.

Somehow I found out that d+h is not in the ultrabox.

Tried to download the app on my TV.  Sadly unable to do that on my samsung TV .

For the time being I will just mirror d+h from my mobile phone onto the TV.  PQ really sucks.

Which version? Is it google certified?

Yes if you cast from mobile phone, u won't get the quality. Samsung I imagine wud hopefully upgrade their TV platforms and make it available to Samsung owners. Have u tried goin' thru the Google Play store and download fr ter onto ur Samsung TV? It might work

May get panasonic maybe.

I have said this so many times.
But someone still want to defend Disney and Astro for their mistake.
They think Malaysians will not notice yet we are just like the same like SG.
We will complain about everything we can.
I do hope Disney will fix it soon.
Just abandon Disney+ Hotstar and move to Disney+ International.
Based from this thread, most of us are willing to pay RM30 per month just to get better content and quality.

They have partnered with Astro, so that is another issue.
Contract have been signed, so they have to honor it first.
Luckily we have the workaround to enjoy Disney+ SG thanks to the forummers inside here.

India have a population of more than 1 million, it is impossible if they did not complain at all.
Plus the app have been there for many years already.
I don't know who makes a stupid decision to launch D+H with less supported devices and less 4K content where we are heading to 4K and Malaysians majority are having high speed internet at home and willing to pay more for best content.
Look at Netflix, they charge up to RM55 yet they have a successful business here in MY.

The app is only available for Samsung TV with Tizen OS model 2018 & newer..

..and afaik older Samsung TV is not using Android OS..
