update for yesterday incident::

cable fault at Tseung Kwan O, Hong Kong from ASE submarine cable

no estimate date for this cable to be fixed. so far only under investigation

Anyone noticed that Cloudflare Warp is not working properly as well?
It is showing connected, but actually I don't think the tunnel is established correctly.

Co-location is currently SG, but doing a public IP check will still return original ISP IP and cdn-cgi/trace returns warp=off.

At least it's not in Malaysian waters, so hopefully repairs won't be affected by Weebotage issues.

Still, if in HK how come my connection to SG vpn also affected? Is it because TM having to do rerouting and bandwidth balancing thanks to the HK submarine cable cable?

My vpn all got packet loss and/or slow speeds with SG, HK and JP servers. Even some Euro servers have small packet loss now. Earlier (afternoon) no packet loss with SG, but download speeds were low, so switched to HK, but then at night packet loss started. JP even worse (as documented by other posts here). Currently connected to Sydney. Higher latency, but at least can get ~200mbps download.

Unifi To SG,TM every day might have different issue about that. So it is normal. (But of course this few days Unifi to Leaseweb SG also having packet loss issue)
But OVH SG is 99.95% stable to Unifi.

most traffic has been divert using SG link to international side of cos is affected. dont forget that TM has limited bandwidth for international.

actually is insufficient to cover unifi subscriber plus they lease out certain bandwidth out to Umobile and Digi not to adding their hosting service is using the same link like we did.

and TM depend too much on He.net at least 60% and the rest carrier like Telia/Cogent/NTT/CW/TATA, etc mostly is using peering or 10G port speed at 20% and for Internet Exchange at 20%

dont forget the last time Europe cable down.. connectivity to others country also having problem like now.

NTT fix the issue? ping is lower than 100 from my side (TIME - JP)

but Cloudflare still 170ms+

not yet recovered... some still divert to JP not HKG yet.

Back to worst around 2pm now basic youtube also lag sial.

Retest get 180.x.x the worst port now
210 much more stable but still lag

go get a vpn for temporarily use.. they still haven announce anything yet so far.

Temporary using one still kinda laggy

Change another vpn provider or another vpn node.

jumping into this new field of observation.

apparently AAG is broken for quite some time, APG broken since 13th december.
