Hi nimeewon, ya fur farming is is demand now, not only chinchilla, other animals that produce good fur is in demand in europe market.

OK, here are some new pics. My chin still has a hump... but he is not shy anymore, eats alot of hay.

haha, finally got more ppl post pictures.....

CM, glad to see the chin begin take care by you, even is just a pet quality chin(you should remember how horrible when she reach you), the important part is the chin now have a place to stay and have proper diet. The pointer nose and the clear hunch back of the chin is un-changeable due to the gen of the chin, but he can live healthy with your proper care.

Yah.... I'm happy to see him happier. Now I look back at his old cage, really cannot imagine how he lived in a cage smaller than our sleeping pillow....

I just got him some hay cakes and he likes chewing on them. I gave him apple chews and he only chewed the bark off but left the wood. He is a chewer, probably bad habit from his previous home.

Till today, I still dunno what to name him LOL. Really big thanks to my 2 friends for helping me care for him for the 1st month+ coz without them, the chin won't be as tame and happy now also.

Long journey for me.......
