Haha... so true. For me it is actually space and also living conditions. I got no room that is suitable for a Chin now... maybe later lah..... right now also I have to concentrate on other type of pets, so it is getting a bit overboard hahahah.

QUOTE(Chinchillas @ Sep 21 2007, 03:52 PM) I may also get in some guinea pig as pet. Maybe one day go for gerbil! Hahah... I also have that same dream.... well, I hope I can succeed with that plan in like another 10 years once financially stable. Try and get hold of a pair of guinea pigs, they are so vocal and interactive. |

Goodness, you really are poisoning us with pictures hahaha.... man, I really wanna own one but hahaha... can't commit yet to a chin.
Anyway, the shop that was selling the Chin at Petaling street is the shop called Petsmore.... kinda orange and the staff wears orange shirts. Alot of dogs on display too in little cubicles. The cage is seriously small.... it's a hamster cage.... with only hay and some pellets inside.... the pellets looked like rabbit pellets to me. |

I love chin fur. So soft. Adopted a grey chin a few months ago. Was in real bad shape as the previous owner never took good care. Feel so angry to see people buy on impulse. Feed rubbish food.
Now my chin is very active, not shy anymore but still cautious. I love to see it roll in the sand bath. Keeping chin is not easy, need big cage, lots of quality hay and pellets as well as cool and quiet environment. |

Yah.... I'm happy to see him happier. Now I look back at his old cage, really cannot imagine how he lived in a cage smaller than our sleeping pillow....
I just got him some hay cakes and he likes chewing on them. I gave him apple chews and he only chewed the bark off but left the wood. He is a chewer, probably bad habit from his previous home. Till today, I still dunno what to name him LOL. Really big thanks to my 2 friends for helping me care for him for the 1st month+ coz without them, the chin won't be as tame and happy now also. |

Oh, Fluff don't provide boarding. There is one girl, Shayne, can contact her. She put her contact there and her ad about boarding there. Her boarding is home boarding but I do not know if she is free now or not.
Updates on my chinchin at fluff. ChinChin moved to a quiet corner, and he somehow is more depressed! Weird..... maybe it needs some time for him to get used to it. Anyway, he would want people to pet him and scratch his chin. When I scratch his chin, he would turn his head slightly upwards and close his eyes. Enjoying the scratch. Chinchillas, do you think that he is depress coz his corner is quiet? He is still with air cond, food, hay, hidebox. Making a hammock and tunnel for him. I also give him hay cakes and apple wood chews. I'm scared he would be bored to death. |
