Nono still very small leh .... cannot fat one ... although 24 hrs pellet and hay .... and 2 ++ hrs outside cage daily .... May be he big oledi also i didnt aware .... bc played with him daily.

2 hours run time a day is too long. Maybe cut to 10mins(none A/C), 20mins(with A/C) . Cannot fat may be part of this reason. However, as long as your chin is healthy, then enjoy Nono la. Secondly, the gene of Nono also play a big part, some chin will just start in a small size and didnt grow much bigger, some will grow real big like a tiny pig. Show picture of Nono!

I'm from Sarawak, really wanted a chin for a long long time but then unable to get one ard. anyone know where to get one?
Is it possible for me to get one from KL and cargo back here? Need to get what type of permit n stuff?

I am currently looking for a chin in Penang. Unfortunately the few reputable stores do not seem have any chins. CTY has 2 dark pastel but they are not for sale. I already have cages and am planning to get some essentials from Chin's Chubby store. Thanks to Danny for giving me some good advice.

The only headache now is finding a good seller in Penang which is a big pain. There was this Chin in Toby - the poor little thing had a broken leg. It was bloody and twisted in all the wrong way. One look and anyone can tell that this poor little guy was in a whole lot of hurt. Will be going back this week to ensure that this guy is treated well by the store. Its utterly revolting!

So anyone here knows where I can get a good quality Chinchilla in Penang? Thanks.

Yes, it is possible, you need to get permit and paid for the flight as well. Get ready to spend RM2000. I have agent who can provide animal transfer to Sabah & Sarawak, they can help you with it.

broken leg???? ! O MY! if already that bad, dont buy, and speak to the owner telling them they need immediate medical attention form the vet. And i guess it maybe due the wire bottom cage that cause the broken leg. eh! I feel heartacrh!

If you want a chin, now is good time for you to collect more information and ready for the coming chinchilla to your home. What is your budget? what colour and quality you looking for? Penang is in the Peninsular, is very easy to make arrangement to have chinchilla up to Penang compare with Sabah & Sarawak.

I also want to faint when i heard about animal get broken leg, how much more is a chinchilla.

Its not a young chin. It looks to me like a violet but the coat is in bad condition. When I went back it was still there. The leg is worse now. The shop said it belongs to a customer that left it there. Seriously if its a customer they should not have accepted at such a condition. I did push but they do not seem likely to do anything about it. With a leg like that even if it lives the leg will have to be amputated. My other half was all red eyed just looking at that poor thing.

I am looking to get one that is Ebony Hetero or a Standard Mutation. Of course would love a Violet or a Gold - but due to cost factors would be too much due to availability. From who should I make arrangements? The shops here are not certain when they will receive any Chins. I have the necessary information and knowledge to be a chin parent. My only real concern at this point is our heat which I plan to rectify using a series of notebook cooling fans and at least one cooling pad.

Do let me know how I can arrange for a Chin and an estimated cost for those colors. Thanks Chinchillas.

btw chincillas.. u mention you had an agent who can help on anima transfre rite? the extimation of 2k is incl the cost of purchasing a chinchilla as well or only the permit n transport charges?

Is there anyway for you to shot a photo? Once you done, send me the photo. I see what I can do call the shop. The main thing now is now the chinchilla hv to belong to which party, the chinchilla need a medical attention now from a vet.

Oh yes please. The more people can tell them it would surely get them to move. The poor guy is suffering! This is definitely not right. I really do not understand how people can do that to their own pets. The world is really screwed up.

OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH SHIT! The poor fellow is still there! I just got back from the place! I got blurry spy picture! The skin on the leg is now flaking and gangrened! I do not think there is anything else to do but to put the poor fellow out of his misery. This is just sick! Freaking hell - how can someone do it to a helpless creature?! Its fur is so dirty I cant even tell what color it is now. It is now being kept all the way in the back. If it does not die from the leg it will surely die from the heat. Even if the chin is not owned by the shop they still need to care for it no? This shop is the worse.

My goodness, I can only see a chin with some abnormal leg showing on your picture. Still can't get Toby in penang, no body pick up.
