Chinchilla: haha, hay definitely will be in there. I still plan to plant something la, eg. mint (for my rabbit), strawberry (for me), chili (for my mum), etc |

QUOTE(shingin @ May 14 2009, 04:07 PM) J: yeap yeap... what to do, chin's fur is too thick and now they are suffering from the heat (due to the recent hot weather). You need to off light, complete darkness on the day time, and you need to block your window's light if they are very bright, must be just nice for you to see some 'shape', you not be able to see it very clear everything. Unless you want to do somethign inside, then on for a while la, but need to be dark in the day time, they will know when to wakeup when to sleep with just a little bit of light for them to sensce it. (even don have, they still can sence it!)Chinchilla: haha, hay definitely will be in there. I still plan to plant something la, eg. mint (for my rabbit), strawberry (for me), chili (for my mum), etc Of cause when you spend time with them at night, can on light la, use those balia florencent light will do, dont use energys saving bulb, those is too bright when you on it. If you have a pink white chin, you will see they wont open they eyes when you on the light, all my pink white just always close eyes or half open when i on light, i think is they gen.... Go check around the room that you put your chin weather the sunlight shine on the at the late noon, it will be very warm if come through window, block it, block it completely. Chinchillas: icic, it sounds like they will prefer light off. The chin's room got a window but won't have any direct sunlight as the window is facing the corridor (within the house) not facing outside. Check oledi and it should be the most suitable place for my chins. Will go an get a stand lamp later coz that room only has downlight (somemore super bright ler). Yeap yeap, my chins also having the same reaction when I switch on the light during nite time, not moving and eyes cannot open for very long. Only start to move around and open eyes if the food is served or after at least 1/2 hr.
J: Ermm... 3 dogs oso can be quite costly wohhh... chin smaller a lot and eat lesser & shit lesser... be a chin owner la This post has been edited by shingin: May 15 2009, 02:11 PM |

Chinchillas: Went to pet safari last nite and saw the hay that you mentioned. Not bad woh... u will be famous very soon. ^^ But feel super mad after seeing the oxbow chinchilla pellet (10lb). Pet safari selling for RM97 or RM98 but I bought from the "Evil shop" for RM112. Wahhh... very dishonest loh.

Ya jason, chin coat have difference grade, difference quality as well. Some chin's coat is poor coat, some is very good quality. Those that is good quality tent to look OK even is in none air condition. However, providing the proper temperature, you made the animal more healthier and let the animal enjoy the proper life style as what they meant to be. Usually chin that in none AC room will need very often dust bath, some even after you dust, next day still look need another dust bath. At this moment, high quality standard grey produce the best fur.
