happy.gif Actually that one didn't really come into my mind. Reason why I wan to provide aircon room for my chins is because they are suffering in the hot weather. All the while wan to provide an aircon room for my chins, but afraid tat the electricity bill will give me a heart attack. Let's try for a few months and see how 1st loh, if really cannot afford then will on aircon during day time and fan during nite time. Or work part time to earn more money sweat.gif not easy ar... to be a good parents "Pet owner"

That's great. Part time is good pocket money. smile.gif Beside the chin it self, the only most costly usage is AC. You will enjoy your chin to fullness if you meet what they need from nature. smile.gif

I just kidding in my early msg... not so hardworking la tongue.gif , if the A/C cost is too much then I might cut down the duration from 20hr to 16hr or may be cut down my junk food cost, etc.

Before having A/C oledi very hard to handle... Pebble is very naughty and alwaz wan to jump out when I open my cage. After having A/C u can imagine loh... more active and make a lot of noise.

You can mix tim 50% + orchard/bermuda 20% + alf 30%, eat until 1 yr old. smile.gif

really?! now very curious oledi tongue.gif u sure my chins will do the same thing or not one oh? I only saw 1 weird thing which is pebble walk with 2 legs (walk like human). Only once and last for at least 10 second. Other than that nothing liao.

Buy the basic 1HP unit would be enough...Get those with inverter..save electricity.

inverter needs special installation and you will only save electricity if you ON your air cond for > 15 hours. <- my fren told me, correct me if i'm wrong.

I used daikin inverter 1HP, no need special installation. If you use panasonic then need since it required 2 pipings instead of 1. Earlier on I used panasonic and dun really like it and now change to daikin (my own room), so I get my chin daikin as well. laugh.gif hahaha pls dun misunderstand ya, I am not daikin agent here.

OMFG!!.. i went to carefour at subang, i saw 2 beige chinchillas.. selling rm1.1k each... guess what.. its stuff inside the glass tank.. not ventilated.. just a few holes at one side of the tank, shared with sugar glidar and hamsters. and i went there when its about to close.. the airconds are shut.. me myself also kinda sweating when looking around for my stuffs..poor thing.. i wonder which idiot from that department suggest to bring in chinchilla, its so lifeless in the tank, the ears are SO RED which can see its suffering from heat.

i also dunno.. i was only going to take a look at rabbit and hamsters.. then when i was about to walk away my gf showed me the chinchilla at the side of the tank.. omg. shock.. rm1.1k.. who will buy a 1.1k pet in carrefour??i tot those ppl go there to look for groceries.. gila

SPCA? Maybe should direct give carefour management a call. I thought they just selling rabbit and hamster who is more commend pet, mana tau now go for chinchilla, sugar glider.... etc.
