i just bought 2nd hand LG KS20 without manual and cd 2 days ago. I managed to get the active sync software. I am looking for user manual. Can anyone help me to find this manual.

Mikey, try to close all the other programs and check your memory availability. If you do not have other applications running, you should have around 40mb of memory available and that is more than enough memory to run SKT.

On the other hand, try to CLOSE (not minimize) all active programs under the memory option and try again. Did u soft-reset after SKT installation?

- download sktools lite 3.3.1 freewre to pc
- unzip in pc
- copy ALL files to memory card (2nd try was unzip to DEVICE
- use file explorer to open the sync files.

but it kept on saying no resource or something. tried until my hands were so tired.

please advice, my dear helpful friend.

i now only try to download and clean up my device so that it runsfaster. is this the right software?

Bro,

Not sure if you do it right. What I did was:

1) download SKT
2) unzip SKT in PC into a folder
3) copy ONLY the .CAB file into my fone
4) run the .CAB file and it will start to install

This is what I do for every application I have in my fone.

I wud advise you to clean up your fone using SKT (after successful install), tune it up properly before installing any new applications to it. Good lucK!

There is nothing wrong with those files you downloaded.
You did not install it correctly. There are two type of files, sktoolslite.exe is for you to install the program from your PC. Run the exe file from the PC and the next time you connect your device via ActiveSync, the program will automatically be transferred to your device for installation.

The other file, lite.CAB is for you to install directly from your device. Copy only this file to your device. DO NOT UNZIP. Install by clicking it at device. It is best you install the program at device rather than at your storage card. Soft reset and you are ready to go.

You ONLY need to do one type of the above installation not BOTH. Suggest using the lite.CAB. Before you start, I would suggest you delete all those unzip files, which you have copied to the device.

any good keyboard ? (i) my Pcm looks little, (ii) my Touckpal cannot (or can?) deactivate dictionary (need to type in indonesia language), quite mahfan leh. any advice? .... lol

It is possible to deactivate word prediction in Touchpal. The method depends on the version. In one version you have to activate Direct input. In another version you have to exclude Word Prediction during installation. What version are you using? WM6.1 allows you to select word completion option at Start>Settings>Personal>Input. Maybe you could try your luck there.

1. bad. cannot change the word completion. the word completion option at the setting does not give such function. maybe i should try another version.

2. i really cannot test the SKTools. i could instal other cab files from other downloads, but not this one. i followed all your instructions but still cannot. sigh

this is what happened: -

copy SKTSYNC.CAB to memory card.
install it on device (KS20).
folder name = sktsync with 2 files insdie = tsync and tsynccfg

> as i click on these files, i only saw some text on the screen. one says that errorxxxx, resource not foundxxx

Bro, u installed the wrong .cab file man. THere u go, use this one.

Note: This forum disallow upload of .CAB, hence I have renamed the .CAB to .TXT. When you download the document, please rename the extention back to .CAB before you run it. Pls let me know when u've downloaded the file, I will remove the link.

stutzeward is correct. You are using the wrong CAB file. As mentioned in my above post, there are only 2 files from the downloaded zip file. One exe and one CAB. Transfer the CAB file to your storage card and run it. Do not unzip this CAB file.
