aiyo, just plan nia la. still have to consider the price ma. 30"lcd is killing me deep and hard. if your 4GHz can stable at reasonable temp, them it will be sweet. @raymond your 3.2ghz can do better also. why dont you challenge them as well?? |

@sang_karim
Actually u can break 4GHz easily with ur stuff. U have almost the same rank item as me. Same mobo, on par ram & cooler, proc almost the same as mine also. Actually the higher speed the lower chance to OC. Like mine, i think i almost hit the wall already. Added on November 15, 2007, 11:23 am@Sang Haha.. I believe ur 3.0E can do better then mine! Go go!! @Ray Wanna join this hardcore OC? This post has been edited by fylon: Nov 15 2007, 11:23 AM |

is not flaming, is encouraging. since you have the stuffs, push a bit more. i want to push also hard, not qualified. IMO, you have invest on psu, hfs, ram, mobo + cpu. then i you should get the best from your rig. |

ofcoz i wont force him MUST push till 4ghz. like fylon said, i also feels that sang_karim have invest quite alot in his 478 recently, so i think the oc performance can be better than now.
Unlike mine, i have this rig since i start using 478, only change cooler years before and the 2.8c. got $ now i also wont invest in it anymore, save for future. @sang_karim ops...hahaha.. now i learn new word. well, thats the spirit of oc. its quite sayang you didnt push higher. your ram can go beyond that. i believe your si120 can keep the temp <50C at your current speed, right?? so at 3.8GHz it wont go pass beyond 55C. make sure your casing airflow is good enough. try oc slowly for safety purpose. @Ray
Haha.. As previously i was using CL2.5 that why the PI score are slight faster. As breaking 4Gh barrier, i gotta change back to CL3. So, the result only faster by 1.+s.. If can tweak the ram timing again i believe the score will be slightly better abit. Hm.. Ray u continue be the boss la! Better! @Kabu Yup. Current fan cannot satisfy me yet. Due only running 1.3k rpm.. The CFM also kinda low due is just a normal fan. Unable to keep my monster below 40'c @ 3.6Ghz.. |
