QUOTE(dares @ May 14 2021, 10:28 PM) VVTi don't work like that, the cam-phasing is continuous throughout the entire RPM range. meaning is 0-6000rpm like that.It doesn't switch over at fixed RPM range like the old VTEC / MIVEC / CPS (which changes valve lift, not valve timing). old vvti got 1 obvious change |

QUOTE(NeedAConsole @ May 15 2021, 11:10 PM) Of course you can bro.I also removed the stock DVR and installed the front + rear dashcam I bought for my previous car. Didn't do it myself though so I got the company [Sicurez] to do so. |

QUOTE(creations @ Apr 23 2021, 11:20 PM) I can feel the same way too. The two front doors seem to have more force to close it compared with behind two doors. Thanks for mentioning that bro..i was curious that my SA misplaced the service book during ativa delivery to my home address as it was around MCO..but later after speaking to perodua support team was told no more service book provided n ufirst app to be used.👍Btw, just got my car today, with silver AV. I enjoy the car so much. Too much features in the car, probably need to spend time to look into manual. Unfortunately, most of manuals are digital copy (esp the owner's manual), and they are using app (ufirst) for replacing service booklet. Everything goes digital although i still prefer booklet made by paper. creations liked this post

Hello perodua Ativa family..glad to be here..got mine Ativa H around first week of May after 40 -45 days of waiting..let me share my personal experience with this car below :
1.First and foremost its going to be very important factor if this is ur first car or what car u wer driving previously.. i was using a second hand 2007 hyundai accent 1.5 automatic and Ativa for me is nothing less than a luxury car in any sense lol..even the basic keyless entry is an enormous upgrade feature for me.😀 2.To me the ride quality , acceleration uphill downhill round about manueaver has been very good so far. The longest distance that i travelled so far is to cbj from my place which is 40+ km both ways for 3 days and rest is nearby by short grocery trips(p.s i had some emergency IT task to carry out onsite n have got company approval letter for necessary onsite work when needed) . 3.some people memtioned about vibration in idle state..refer to my poìnt 1 , depends upon ur previous car it might be good or bad..for me it was hardly noticable. 4.front driver door i felt bit hard to close intial days..now it seems normal or may be my body adapted to it..lol 5.Top speed i approached is 130+ (pic shared) without any power mode and rpm deifinitely 3000+ but still not bad with the vibration or handling. 6.steering was too smooth for me and was afraid i might overturn but now i am used to it and its a great feeling. 7.i found gear up expensive for most of basic parts so got via lazada ..like luggage net , card holder accesory etc. 8.last but not least it would be wrong to mention about plastic Material feel in cabin..coz u get wat u pay..its budget compact SUV and with this price its already packed with so many features..most importantly the ASA and 6 air bags 😎 Overall i am very much happy with the car and hope that it performs well in the long run specially since its first time turbo engine for perodua. Hi guys, currently I have yet received my gear up utility kit (door visor, mat, rear tray) for a month after received my ativa av car, and the agent told me need to wait.
I'm curious whether is anyone facing the same issue where the gear up utility kit has limited stock from hq, and still good to wait further ? Waiting utility kit for a month is seem ridiculous for me, as I found alot of available stocks selling in Lazada. Lol. |

Did the installation of wheel lock nuts and vibratile for all 4 doors too since I opted for that + door visors only. creations liked this post

Good to hear your kits have arrived late, but a least the kits reached with promise. Just managed to receive agent reply and can install kits and asking for the 1st service together.Anyhow, do follow up with your SA closely. Due to I wfh all the time during the mco period, I barely drive up to 200km within a month, and was thinking to delay my service later, would it void my warranty due if the car was not doing service on time although the mileage has yet reached ? |

Earlier of 1,000km or 1 month for the 1st inspection.Due to I wfh all the time during the mco period, I barely drive up to 200km within a month, and was thinking to delay my service later, would it void my warranty due if the car was not doing service on time although the mileage has yet reached ? When I sent my car in for inspection - I had only covered < 600KM as well as made the appointment around 3 weeks of receiving it, cos the weekend slots that I wanted were full when I checked on uFirst. Don't worry about the mileage. When I had my previous Myvi, I also covered less than the mileage due to the distance covered but it's not an issue. Regardless, I would suggest you still book in the slot based on the timing and not the mileage to be on the safe side. |

QUOTE(lsl640 @ May 28 2021, 09:51 AM) Hmm, this one I can't really comment cos I let the staff settle the wiring etc. If the current wiring fits your dashcam that you intend to use, then I don't see why not. I'm not too sure whether they have enough 'ports' anot since they might need the ports if you plan to have other things installed like the Gear Up scuff plates or DRLs later on.For me, I'm only keen to have the dual dashcam + battery pack installed so I don't draw power from the car's battery when the car is not in use. |
