can always do fresh install of windows and start clean.
wipe the slate clean.

sometimes it's just bloatware from "Gaming" brands

when it spikes, pay attention to the process that spikes, identify them, seek out root folders etc.
most of the time, it's stuff that snuck into your company

Alright, thanks for the heads up.

Will try to monitor what's eating up the spaces.

Hi Guys, recently my RAM kept spiking to 90% USAGE and i tried google some solution it reduces alot (Approx 40-50% usage) but it spike to 90% after a week. Im running on 16GB, and did some browsing (Google Chrome) and android emulator only.

Should i upgrade to 32GB or my RAM is faulty?

Check usable RAM in task manager, but I will put my bet on Android emulator, the virtualbox always memory leak after running for hours. icon_rolleyes.gif

illegear is just CKD Import Eurocom, not in house completely like Dell, Lenovo etc.
I think many boutique brands doing the same these days though.

Not to say good or bad,
heck, I've always told my friends they were "ok" when they want gaming laptops before Covid.
most of them still have theirs running.

TS case, dont know happening due to COVID or not saja.

Yes, Android emulator run on VirtualBox, it is a virtual machine that running your Android system la. biggrin.gif
If you only running like 1-3 hours of Android emulator, but your RAM keep 90%, the only thing you can do is.

1. Just keep reopen your Android emulator, ensure VirtualBox also shut down in the process.
2. Turn off Fast Startup to prevent the memory leak bring over to next boot of your system.(hibernate is not reboot/fake shut down)
https://www.asus.com/support/FAQ/1045548/

Or, you just add more RAM to counter it la. tongue.gif
Memory leak by virtual machine is old issues that hardly can fix, so, yup. sweat.gif

You're welcome. icon_rolleyes.gif

That's why I hate drivers(either kernel or user mode), if it causing memory leak, only reboot or add more RAM will solve it.
Unless it is from Nvidia for example, just find reproduce step(reopen MSI AB frequently will cause memory leak) and report to them, last time I did it and just 2 months, fixed.

Also try keep your drivers in least, crashing of system(BSoD) is always by drivers, like mine is USB charger+ from Asus. thumbsup.gif
