no problem since upgrade a few months back. i not directly change the phone region, it is just my phone 24/7 connected to VPN and it is singapore region.

if you dont want change region, just download manually the rom and install by ur self just as another poster taught in the previous posts

Nothing in particular, it's stable. But the only difference for me was VoWIFI was activated for my F3 under Hotlink. Everything else feels the same with negligible difference. We have not yet got the fancy features that MIUI 14 has for China.

Personal experience is that Xiaomi/POCO in Malaysia is usually the last batch to get major MIUI version updates. The occasional security updates are usually in time.

Previous phone Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro also need to use the region change to get updates after waiting months.

My Poco F3 display spoilt out of sudden. It shows random screen off at first then later time totally screen off. Tried reboot but still same. Phone is active in background. Anyone can advise the experience to repair their phone at Xiaomi Exclusive service center? My phone out of warranty.

for full front screen replacement it cost around 350 at xiaomi sc, before other costs.

Based on your past experience in February 2023, is it they reset the phone after repair your display?

They'll ask you to reset the phone before handing over the phone at the counter. So not too sure if they do another reset after replacing the display.

Thanks for the guide, after following the change region thing, my F3 is now on miui 14. And one thing that I noticed, the battery life is insanely good. My sot used to be around 4-5 hours at 20% remaining. Now my sot is 4 hours plus, and I am still at 40%

Vertical green lines but still functional screen so I reset normally. Not sure how to reset if display completely spoilt.

starting to show some weird symptoms like keyboard unable to pop out, press backspace no response... memory is only 160GB used. power button over sensitive.

Finally decided to get around to manually force update to MIUI 14, downloaded the zip file and it gave me this vague error, lovely

Yeah that seems to have worked, updating now

yaya, use SG region to update. Seems like xiaomi locked the update for MY region.......dunno why they do it

Any ideas how to get Poco F3 to work with maxis 5G? I've already enable 5G in maxis app.

Setting > sim card > select the sim > preferred network > prefer 5G

Try go other places.

My wife is using samsung S21, workimg fine and stable. I get the feeling poco f3 5g is not compatible? Anyone else got theirs working?
