Yep, already tried it
Best 2k display so far at Xiaomi range
Best soundstage by Harmon Kardon
Best SD 888 performance
During setup or play light games no heat up just slightly warm
Didn't try high graphic games
🔋 So far so 👍
Signal reception no issue
GPS no issue 😊

Does xiaomi still have ads in their phone?

Was once a xiaomi 5 user, then switched to Oneplus.

The ads are there but can be turned off. Granted MIUI isn’t as clean as Oxygen OS for sure, but MIUI 12 is a huge improvement over previous reiterations of MIUI. I tried both Poco F2 Pro on MIUI 11 and Mi 10 on MIUI 12 last year and the difference is stark. Still had to manually remove the bloatware but overall the experience was good.

Apart from Samsung and iphone,

Huawei - mate 30 Pro, mate 40 Pro, p30 Pro, P40 pro
Oppo Find x2 pro
Oneplus 8 pro
Sony - Xperia 1, 5, 10

All these phones mentioned sells above RM2999, some below. Chill, mi 11 is good. But I'm just having abit of fun because they are obviously leaving the op certification to the ultra model, which is slightly disappointing (similar to every other manufacturers this year)

thanks for sharing this info.

my bad for my negative tone, didnt have any xiaomi before, not planning getting mi11 either.

huawei, its dead.
oppo , come on.
oneplus, too niche for normal buyers.
sony, even oneplus is selling more phones than sony.

so ip68 is belongs to flagship samsung and iphone.

but you are right, ip68 is really cool, i cant imagine using a phone without it.

i can wash my phone anytime under the water tap. or using a phone in a shower. laugh.gif

Remind me not to buy a used phone from you bro, hahaha..

For me personally, I think it’s rather disingenuous from manufacturers to have IP68 rating on their phones and yet explicitly state that water damage is not covered by warranty hence I end up every bit as careful with my Samsungs and iPhones as I am with my non-IP certified phones. So not having IP certification is alright for me, as long as the price is fair, and Xiaomi has that in spades.

Ditto, my sister over confident with the IP rating on her Samsung and wash the phone regularly. One time some water sipped in and KEK the display IC got burnt. Another time is her Note9, the charging port also detecting water resistance issue, luckily the inside is still fine.

That’s what she used to believe too, KEK.

Nowadays, I tell her to use alcohol spray or wipe instead. At least alcohol isn’t as conductive as water.
