decided to skip lithium battery after some research online.

Hi all, i asked a workshop and quoted with about RM500 which include front and rear device, hardwire kit, and installation fee. Does this deal overpriced or fair?

Adding this to CX3, gonna hardwire it but not for parking monitoring as I want the ciggy port for other purpose. Car parked indoor most of the time hence not too concern with battery (ddpai or A800S a bit off budget actually 😜) and kinda like the phone app. Bought at $353 incl SanDisk Ultra A1 64gb separately.

Not sure if this is global version though although seller confirms it is. 🤔

Update : Unit worked well, ADAS seems to setup much faster. Wiring installation cost $180 incl the "kit" and completed within 1.5 hour at Ara Dsara on 2/12

Any meletup case because of high climate?
Want to buy want but scared meletup coz always open parking with no cover.

Just bought mine weeks ago and didn't aware of the lithium battery.

I guess i will try to remove it during working hour since my car always expose under the sun

Just realised that my firmware is still on the very old one (0.0.34ww) and got a notification to upgrade this.

May I know is there any disadvantages/issues with the latest firmware? Wondering if I should upgrade it or maintain the current one.

You have to find the change log on the firmware version.

Need to buy new dashcam for new car receiving this Mon. Since I've bought few A500S I'm thinking of buying a diff brand eg ddpai z40 dual cam. New car is parked indoor most of the time 😆

Question when recording on Z40, kindly adv if the front is recording at 2k while rear is at 1080 simultaneously?

Z40 front cam is 1944p not 1440p. Rear cam is 1080p. Same like A500S.

Bro, in 70mai app, what's the max connected dashcam can it accommodate? Currently I've 2, but I'm considering as well if I go with ddpai then I'll need to install another app to the phone while if I continue with 70mai, then perhaps I can have one app for all 3 dashcam...?

I'm not sure but I think you better test it out.

It's down to lithium-ion battery (70mai) vs supercapacitor battery (DDPAI).

No clones yet but I did saw someone who pay rm1xx for a A500 and got ripped off by the seller sending him those rm100 crap dashcam. Better get from reputable sellers instead of super cheap prices as it may be scams.

currently using 70mai pro ..battery Kong...and no rear cam...so thinking to change with rear cam ...
battery need to replace ..after used for 3years ~4years

how about china set ? warranty by seller instead of ddpai ..

If worry about the warranty then get it from DDPAI Malaysia. Want cheap then go with online sellers.
