Any1 change mounting full set? Price?
*
Have you changed your engine mountings ?

May change mine 9 yrs old 1.8 GL engine mountings within next few months time at outside workshop, yet to check the price (parts & labour).

1.6 GL have 3 engine mountings.
1.8 GL have additional 1 top mounting (horizontally holding the engine block, located next to engine)

Guys, I have an issue on the gear - almost in every early morning when I shift to D, it seems like the gear doesn't "eat" properly, and I have to accelerate for a while then only it will move, or faster way, down shift to fear 1 to move.

Any idea on what's going on? Before i send in to workshop

Thanks!

What kind of vibration (deskboard, steering, engine bay etc.) before change?
After change can feel a lot difference? Specifically which vibration can feel the most changes?

Mind to share where is the workshop?

Change when the workshop uncle asked. I didnt track on the frequency.

How much is the damage for gearbox repair?  cry.gif
*
Usually ATF change every 30k or 40k km.
Send to workshop that you trust to check the problem.
Heard gearbox repair may cost few k.

Sent to tan chong, they told me need to change gear box.

but I have a service on tan chong , changed gear oil engine oil...

the next day no more delay ....

do I still need to change my gearbox ??
*
Only change gear oil or change gear oil + add in gearbox treatment?

Change gearbox will cost you a bomb.

Didn't take any pic
https://shopee.com.my/product/54001962/2521208677?smtt=0.0.9

Can refer https://youtu.be/oY_92uYKLCI, difference is without remove the whole bumper out,
1) remove 3 screws at the bottom of bumper (driver side)
2) remove rivet at front side of fender & slowly pull fender out.
3) remove 1 screw (located behind the fender) that hold the bumper..
4) slowly pull the bumper side way to release from clip
5) insert some cloth in between the fender & bumper so that it provide a gap for ease of accessing the wiper water tank motor.
6) refer youtube above how to remove & reinstall back the motor.
